Thanks for the walk around at the rc expo Stephen, Remo have been making some decent budget grade RC's for a few years now, that SCT from Remo is an exact cheaper in price copy of the popular Traxxas Slash and yep all parts are cross compatible from what ive been told by those that own one! The 1/6 Scale brushless SCT from XLF looks decent too. Great way to network and showcase some of the popular budget rc brands most of us know and most likely have models in our collections! 💯👍🏻

Remo hobby has been around for a while, I have one of their smax 1/16 mt's that's from about 5-6 years ago now and it didn't look like much changed on it in the video. Those large short course trucks are clones of the Traxxas slash (to the point all parts crossover) and then they have a axial honcho clone that is the same deal with parts that crossover from the axial. I think they got in trouble from Traxxas a while back actually. RC sailors can tell you about it

That wltoys is the 124006 btw. It's the same as the older all green 12428 with a different body.

HNR made the stinger first as its almost in its 3rd year of production. I love Remo Hobby rigs tho as I have 2 here and they are built really well and provide solid performance in both their brushed and brushless systems. I really loved those SCT’s from that rebranded Hosim brand. It’s nice to see WLtoys changing things up a bit and updating their offerings. what a good video youhave got a follow...i have a remo 1631 1/16 from like 6-7 years ago and in the uk the problem i have now is parts and its when i need them 6-7 years down the line 😂 only thing ive done was a dog-bone but i have many parts but trying to get a whole bearing kit and new crown gears for the driveshaft is near enough impossible unless you pay 2x the car. i paid 30uk for a kit roller and since then wltoys usershave bumped the price up of wheels only parts easy to get in the uk ...so remo story they brought out the remo 1631 smaxx its a called a V1 comes with plastic diff housing ect and a knock off traxxs shell witch they got done for so change the shell 😂 and the v2 came out with all metal diffs and different paint job shell 😂

@RC-Expats-HK look up the Remo Hobby "SMax." Fun tiny 1/16 basher that was ahead of it's time. Also look up the old "Evo-R" from them. Traxxas threatened KZbinrs over that one if they dared compare it. Such a good slash clone that it accepted all of the replacement parts and upgrades. I have one and the Huanqi 727. Both brushless.

@RC-Expats-HK it performs OK-ish. Only on rocks and stones it needs softer tires (stock one are a little stiff, massage them and will help a little 😏). Bought it mainly because of its look 🤩(not another jeep or smth🥳). I can forgive everything if the rc looks like smth from 60s to 90s🥰
