Hi mate. A few points in the comparison that I thought I'd add. In the NTTD it has a ceramic bezel. The 'broad arrow' marker is the hallmark put on any item that has been procured though contract by the British Ministry of Defence. The engraving of letters and numbers on the back are the reference number given to the specific contract with the MoD as published in the government gazette. The gazette is the document that the government publishes all its tenders seeking vendors for items they are wanting to purchase. It basically is a way to denote that the property is owned by the Crown and the contract under which it was procured. It's an amazing level of detail that I think is incredible. This was Daniel Craig's idea to add to the watch. It also has a domed sapphire crystal meant to mimic the refraction of an old acrylic crystal. I believe that it is also missing anti reflective coating. On the Bond 60th by comparison it has an aluminium bezel insert with the "60" being lumed, so with extended exposure to UV light it will fade over time but as well all know a faded bezel is free money in the bank. The lollypop second hand with the ball on the tip of the hand is supposed to sweep just below the seconds track and from the top down is meant to resemble a roulette wheel in play. This is a nod to the original Bond film 'Casino Royale' (The Connery one) . Now I've told you this you will never unsee it. The wave dial on the Bond 60th is the same first generation wave dial as used on the original Brosnan Seamaster from 1995, the first collaboration with Omega and Bond. It is not available currently on any other Omega. It's a stunning watch and I was wearing one today at Omega. I'd own it now if I wasn't almost certain that they will be releasing a black version soon as teased by Daniel Craig at the Olympics. Thanks for your video, I really enjoyed this side by side. I look forward to checking out your other content and have subscribded. Cheers from Australia. Edit: Forgot to mention that for me its the Bond 60th. It's a stunning watch in the flesh.

Suggest you Re-check the information regarding NTTD Bezel it is a brown tropical aluminium Bezel Ring as written on the Omega Site. Amazing looking watch .

Sorry but the NTTD has an aluminium bezel, not ceramic!! Please disregard the comment above. The Omega CEO explains why is another well known YT creator’s video (so it can starch and fade and that no two will ever be the same). kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJCyp5uchLxmjMUsi=fVz5D1Kd-Jhejmej - from 14:01

Big bond and Omega fan. Also one major difference. One was worn by Bond. The other was not. Proud owner of the NTTD. I love it. And after considering both for so long in the flesh, I would still go with NTTD. Watches are made to be worn!

I’ve been looking at both of these recently and really appreciate your comparison! I still can’t make up my mind. The NTTD is so light and cool looking yet the blue of the 60th is super striking. The one thing I’m considering as well is whether the NTTD is going to be available longer and the 60th is a limited run. I don’t have another Seamaster in the collect (yet). Both cool watches in their own right.

I think the NTTD makes for a better daily. The 60th is great but the price is a bit much if you aren’t particularly a Bond fan.

I enjoyed the video. I'm an Omega and Bond fan (wearing the Casino Royale 2220.80 Seamaster as I write this). I prefer the models that are either screen used like the 2541.80, 2531.80, 2220.80, etc. or the special editions (like the two you have) that don't show obvious Bond branding when you're wearing the watch. I'm not a fan of a 007 second hands or 007 on the dial. My pick between the two you have is the 60th Anniversary but that's because I much prefer blue watches over the colors chosen for the NTTD watch. I liked the look of the mesh bracelet on the NTTD watch so I got one for my blue Seamasters.

The boutique I got my white moonwatch from called me a few days ago to offer me a 60th they got in unexpectedly. But I’m getting a NTTD instead because the 60 is too close to my blue diver 300.

I'm confused between summer blue and 60th anniversary can you give me your opinion???
@casualdudereviews3 ай бұрын
It really depends on what you’re into. The Summer blue is a great looking watch but the sunburst color patter may be tougher to dress up or, in my opinion, may feel dated quicker. If you’re not a 007 fan though, the 60th comes at a premium which means you may be better off buying the standard SMP with the similar blue color and swapping the bracelet.
