very helpful thanks! to add; when I did it windows 10 said my SSD wasn't GPT so before setting the partition size, type "convert gpt". If window asks for mbr then type "convert mbr"

For me booting from Ventoy was the source of the problem. Best to use Window's own method to set up a boost USB drive.

I am booting from Ventoy so how do I change that. Its the only os I have downloaded and since I cant boot windows to my pc what am I supposed to do?
