We couldn't stay here! Last-minute park change. Full Time RV!

Join us on the journey this week, as we travel over 564 miles and three states. Angela finds a little treat for Cody and we get a little more out of our Wisconsin stay, before heading to Minnesota for night. Cody FINALLY gets his truck airbags set where he likes them. We then head into North Dakota, but not without a last-minute campground change. It wasn't quite what we were expecting. Enjoy!

I agree Cody. It’s a bad thing when I DO get customer service that I am AMAZED! Customer service as a rule has been heading downhill for a while, and in general, shows no sign of getting better. My biggest pet peeve is after you spend your hard earned money at a business, and nobody can be bothered to even say “thank you”. I enjoy you and Angela’s great content. No drama, no bitching and moaning just great travel destinations,plus you are not trying to sell me something every 15 min. Thank you and travel safely. Hug those pups for me!

It is so beautiful! We had someone tell us that they stayed in a hotel off of the river and the views each morning were really great, so even if you traveled without an RV, I think it's a nice area! :)

We have a heavy picture that we’ve had hanging in our RV since September 2022. If you have a wire on the back, buy the hooks for hanging pictures and use the Command strips to use in a bathroom. I used the ones that had a small “V” hook on top and larger one on bottom and put two side by side using the larger hook.

We used to ride that bike trail all the time. A treat there was the Trempealeau Hotel in Trempealeau and eating walnut burgers. We also bought several vehicles at Dahl Ford.

Glad Cody finally learned his lesson racing Angela on bikes. Lol. I agree about customer service is getting worse. We tried for two weeks to get a site in Hudson Florida at a rv park. No answer on phone or call back. We found a site at another place. Looks nice too. We will see in July. Going scalloping with our daughter n her family.

Isn't that frustrating? I feel like we may miss out on some gems, by not taking a little extra time with these smaller places, but it can really complicate the process, eh? That sounds like fun! We are completely ignorant with any kind of sea fishing or gathering. I bet it is an experience!

We went scalloping a few years ago this them. The first day was a bust but they found them the next day and we killed them. We have a friend that lives close so maybe he can head us to a good spot. Just have to swim down n get them. 😃

I have hung some fairly heavy framed pictures with Velcro Command strips specifically for hanging pictures. Might want to put a pillow (oh, excuse me, I mean blanket) under it for a while to make sure it stays.

Love the video! We missed the Northern Lights due to us being in Daytona, FL for our son's Gymnastics National Championships. Our friends back home were posting photos and videos. Also, we would have left that park too. Our issue is that we travel long distances per day and the late arrival procedure for KOA and similar parks work for us. We have also heard from other friends who are encountering more small parks in which there is no one to talk to and after leaving a message you do not hear anything back for hours. Travel safe!

Angela, Try Nat’l Forests. Those are hidden gems for basic camping too. Especially with America the Beautiful pass. We too love county parks. Not all are that difficult. We only encounter one being renovated and closed and another that we didn’t care for.

We try to stay at city and county parks a lot in our travels. Generally, they are very nice and affordable. In fact, 2 nights ago, we stayed in Deschler, NE at a city park with water and electric for FREE!! They offer days 1 - 3 at no charge and days 4 - 7 at $10 night. 👍👍

We left a state rv park in Oklahoma once because it was an online booking, paid for, and someone was in the spot we reserved. It was New Years Day and you could tell there had been a party. A scetchy looking lady came out and said, it's first come first served, then added she tried to pay for another day but it was reserved! DUH?! At that point we didnt feel comfortable staying there. We never even tried to get reimbursed.

Agree. Good Custom service is a thing of the past. People just do not care. When I spoke to the manager one time about it he said. Oh I know who you are talking about. Nice museum, next time you’re near South Bend Indiana, you should visit the Packard Museum! The trail looked nice! We’ve visited Voyagers National Park in Minnesota, it was beautiful! 80s metal was and is the best!
