Those tall woody stickups are hard to mow down sometimes. You have to attack them from every direction to cut them. Since they are taller than the blade and deck length, they basically lay down and don't get cut. But you two did a great job with them. Thumbs Up

I love the juxtaposition of crows at the start when showing the gnarled mess and then happy songs and chirps of birds at the end lol. It's really satisfying when it's dry enough to clear out edges and sidewalks with a weed trimmer.

So people don't want to use their equipment because the fear of transferring seeds or other materials that will infest their own yards, stickers, sand burrs, etc. Just a thought. Nice job gentlemen. Was this a random property you chose? Do you have yo get permission first? I noticed a piece of paper on the door. Was that a violation notice?

Most likely abandoned! Probably scheduled for demolition, overdue taxes causing a lien, although it seems to take years since they give owners ample time to repay 🤷🏼‍♀️

If it’s abandoned it’s actually the city/town’s obligation. And honestly why does everyone feel it’s the neighbors responsibility to help, you don’t live there nor understand what situations of others may be. My neighborhood is a majority of elderly.

Wow what a difference. I cant believe there was grass under all that brush , and that all that brush just blended in after being mulched up. Fantastic job guys looks great. It amazes me how many of these really bad lawns are on corner lots. My dad owned 2 homes....both corner lots. He taught me that we have a special responsibility to have a nice looking yard since we were on the corner. That man could plant a stick and turn it into something beautiful. I miss him.

Another WOW! I would like to know about your equipment. I see a Gravely mower. Is it a Brigs & Stratton, Kohler, or a Kawasaki? How often do you sharpen your blades? You mow some nasty stuff. The trimmer and edger name brand? What line do you use? What oil do you use in the trimmer and edger? Just a short break down.

That was quite the challenge but you beat it! Great job, however, I know this was a free job and I imagine you told the neighbor that so I would have liked to see all the pieces of paper picked up and see you go around with the blade up quite a bit and spread the grass clippings around. When people know the job is free and you still leave the yard in the same condition that you would a yard you were paid to do, it speaks volumes! You did what apparently no one else wanted to attempt, that also speaks volumes! Word of mouth is always your best advertisement! Thanks for sharing the video! God Bless you and your families!
