Was never a college sport fan ever in my life till five or so years back when I met a dude from Hillsdale, Michigan. He was obviously a massive wolverines fan and got me into college sports. Every time Michigan would play id root for the opposing team just to mess with him and laugh when Michigan would win nine times outta ten. Four years ago, that friend of mine unexpectedly passed away. It hit me like a truck to say the least. Now i try to watch every game or at least keep up with the score of the wolverines just to never forget a damn good friend of mine. I dont have the same connection to the team as most fans, but i definitely shed a few tears when Michigan beat Ohio state, just knowing he'd be so ecstatic about the win. Go Blue! For You BG!

I remember watching as a kid in 1997 as Charles Woodson paraded around Michigan Stadium with a rose between his teeth. Michigan went on to beat Ryan Leaf and Washington State in the Rose Bowl. Since then, so much heartache. Lost 42-39 to Ohio in 2006, no. 1 v.s. no. 2, Appalachian State, Toledo, the Brady Hoke years, Iowa in '16, getting blown out by Ohio in '18 and '19. This was unreal. No one from the outside looking in will understand what it meant to beat the Buckeyes yesterday. Not just to beat them, but to destroy them. This was truly a gift from God to the fans, the university, the players, the former players, the coaches, and the great state of Michigan.

Couldn’t agree more! I’m from upstate NY and I’ve been a wolverine fan since I was a little kid. Dad and I went to the New York State high school playoff games years ago at the carrier dome in Syracuse. We walked in to Mike Hart busting loose for a 99 yard touch down run when he was in high school in Onondaga. He was the big news around the state as we don’t get much attention up here. His going to Michigan only intensified my loyalty to the wolverines. I’ve never teared up over a sporting event, but yesterday was the most magical and exhilarating thing I’ve ever experienced in sports. So proud of this program!

As a Miami fan I certainly know how you guys feel. We had lost to FSU 7 times in a row from 2010-2016. Longest 7 years of my life. @@eholden6510 the hell you talking about? In the 80s up to the mid 2000s Miami was consistently very good and had won multiple national championships. Their last one coming in 2001. FSU basically same story, just not as many championships. But hell, even they won one back in 16. Michigan's last one was 1997.

The fact that this was after a loss to MSU is what makes it even more crazy. In the past Michigan crumbled after a loss like that. But these aren’t your average wolverines (as Gus Johnson would say.) These wolverines kept believing and battling. It was truly Michigan Vs everybody. And they made sure nobody could steal this game from them by dominating.

@@meyersmediafamily Exactly right. Losing to Sparty just didn't seem to phase this team though. They had a short memory week in week out and were tunnel visioned on the tasks ahead. This team was NOT going to lose yesterday, it just wasn't going to happen. McNamara kept his cool after the stupid interception he threw, the whole team just continued to ride with him and impose their will on the bucknuts. It was amazing to see how calm, collected, and prepared Michigan was. Michigan was in a zone and just the better team overall. Hell of a win. That was a performance like no other. I'd hate to be Iowa who has to play this team next week. Ordering a Hutchinson jersey soon, sad to see him go. He's a Wolverine at heart.

As a Spartan fan, this game was incredible to watch. Those kids showed what happens when you want it more and you work your ass off to get it. 97 looked like a Bosa brother. OSU grad here. I was at the game Saturday and that place was electric. I grew up in Columbus and went to my first Ohio State-Michigan game in 2002 when I was five years old. This one reminded me of that because I remember everyone talking about how you guys ALWAYS beat us in the 90s and that day we just wanted it more.
