Ready for a wild ride? Then join in for some adventurous game drive through the hilly and rugged Ithala Game Reserve which is well known for its bad roads. But we did NOT expect THIS! We could pass the roads with a high clearance 2x4 vehicle and had so much fun. We went on lonely hikes on our own in the park. Were scared of snakes and found many beautiful birds (a lot of lifers!). But, in the park famous for giraffes we only saw 1! Anyway, a big surprise was waiting for us in the end. Enjoy the next episode of the Expedition Wild reloaded! And...., oh yes, it is so worth a visit!

I am an ex KZN South Coast citizen living in Cape Town for 24 years now. I have been to this reserve twice while on visits there. The first trip I went on one of the parks game drives and the second one I drove around myself. I was quite impressed because you don't often get game parks so close to cities.
