Omg. Such a short trip to KK. So many wonderful places to explore n plenty of good food around expecially the seafood . Anyway, for island hopping majority tourists would prefer the Manukan and Mamutik Islands cos there are more activities available besides the snorkeling. Parasailing and Seawalking will be very interesting for u too. In fact there is another beautiful island near KK too. It is called Mantanani Island. A very beautiful Island with crystal clear water plus many sea activities available too e.g kayaking, snorkeling, diving, Seawalking, ATV and seaside activities . They have a good resort available too called the Sutera Mantanani. It is just about 1.5 hours drive from the KK city to Kota Belud and a boat ride from Rempayan Jetty to Mantanani Island which takes about 45 minutes. U will witness beautiful sunrise moments which happens usually from 5.45am to 6 am n beautiful sunset views too like Tanjung Aru. At KK city u should go around Jalan Gaya too. Night Market during the weekends and Morning Market only on Sunday. I hope u didn't miss the Todak Waterfront for the wonderful seafood experience especially the Lobsters and many more. Mari Mari Culture Place is worth visiting too. Please do extend your stay to Kundasang in your next visit. The place is also known as the New Zealand of Malaysia. Beautiful scenery n wonderful views especially the Mount Kinabalu. It is just about less than 2 hours drive from the KK city itself. U won't regret it. Lastly I would recommend u to stay at the Shangri-la Tanjung Aru on your next visit. U will enjoy the wonderful experience staying in tis hotel. Generally the Sabahan are very friendly and humble people too. Good luck and happy holidays.

I would recommend that you plan a trip to either Mabul Island or Sipadan Island on your next trip to Sabah. If you have the time try making a trip to see Mount Kinabalu as well as Poring Hot Springs

Wow....leaving your home at 3 am in the morning and maximising all your time in KK. The trip was quite short but after watching your one night trip to Singapore without booking a hotel, I am aware you can achieve many things in a short time. The entrance fee to Kokol hill is way too expensive. There is a lot of coral and marine in the sea and the water is crystal clear and warm the whole year. Glad you are seeing more places in Malaysia. Welcome to my hometown, KK👋. Good thing u take the recommended inn. And Sabah famous for it's seafood.. much cheaper outside the city skirt👍 Here's the tips when u want to see perfect sunset 🌇 in KK,:- try watch the time of Islamic prayer - Maghrib. Today Maghrib time in KK is 6:26pm. Means u must standby on the beach 10 or 15 minute before that, or earlier to avoid traffic jam. Because the sun already set once u heard the azan (call of prayer). 👌

Additional information. If you or any of your followers here wants to climb up to Mount Kinabalu make sure u make early booking thru the official Sabah Parks website or Sabah Kinabalu Park office. There are also so called " Agents " in arranging such packages. However, majority are conman Agents too or the fee that u are paying is so much more expensive compared to u dealing directly with the Official Sabah Parks office. Advance booking is a must otherwise u will be very disappointed not to be allowed to climb upon arrival without booking. It is a very high mountain and can be very cold even before the rain starts n windy too. It normally touches below 10°C on the Peak . The air will get thinner as u climb higher. Hence, some might face difficulty in breathing. It is slightly more than double Genting Highlands heights . Good luck and happy climbing

I'm surprised that you only spend one night in KK for such a long distance trip, should have stayed longer n explore more places, btw the Kokol Hill entrance fees were so expensive😅😅😅

@@sunamiinmalaysia Sunami-san, if you plan to hike Mt. K, you might want to plan earlier ahead cos you'd need to apply for the permit to hike. I haven't hiked before but I think hiking guides are mandatory so usually ppl book a few mths ahead via tour agencies which help you book the permit and arrange for the guide. It also tend to rain more in yr end so hiking between March-August might be better too. It's also tiring since it'll be a 2D1N hike, so do allocate more time so you get to rest (ideally more than 3 days), and maybe explore Kundasang, the cool and breezy highland town at the base of Mt. K.

Like others, I recommend you go to Sabah again, and go outside KK as well - Kota Belud, Kundasang, ⛰️ Mt. Kinabalu UNESCO World Heritage Geopark, Sandakan / Sepilok for Rainforest Discovery Centre, 🌳 Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre 🍯 🐻, Orangutan Center 🦧 , Mari Mari Cultural Village to learn about Native tribes of Sabah, Also if you know how to swim, the next time I recommend snorkeling 🤿 - Sabah is in the Coral Triangle, which is like the rainforest of the ocean! Extremely high biodiversity of beautiful corals, fish, whale sharks during Spring migration, and other marine life 🪸 🐠 🐙

U can buy one day trip from the hotels which include Mt Kinabalu view, Poring Hot Spring & Farm Fresh. or kayaking package at Kinabatangan river. The trip is organise by local tourist companies & you will join with other tourist. Its cold on the mountain area & fogging during raining. On the way back tour guide will ask u want to play parachute or ATV. Bout Rm300 & Rm200.

Nice trip to KK wit lovely beach & seafoods . However be extra careful wit the fees/entry fees/trap fees ie kokol elf expensive myr 90 plus kokol own transport myr 60 = 150 one person/one way , just for photos , even the actual grab was myr 26 . Glad u love to go on trip in malaysia but make sure to do further check to avoid this & take care . Cheers !! 👍🏻

フェリー乗り場で申し込みました！ ただ、平日に行ったのにも関わらず思いの外人が多くて、申し込み〜乗船まで1時間以上かかったので時間にゆとりを持って行ってください😉 午前中にフェリー乗り場に行くと良いと思います！
