I’ve taken care of a couple people like this young lady. I understand far more about the emotional burden and ways you could get triggered as a caregiver with someone like that, but doing this level of neglect and abuse is beyond baffling. It’s not even spur of the moment, anger-filled violence. It’s day by day, second by second, intentional sadism, condoned by both parents. I can only hope they both have had severe Alzheimer’s, because that would be the only excuse for doing something like this.

The parents seemed to be very active and well liked by the community. It seems like they could have gotten help caring for their daughter. The daughter would have qualified for Social Security Disability to help pay someone to take care of her. I wonder if she was on S.S.D.I. and the parents spent the money on themselves. That would be fraud. If so they would have to pay the government back. It can be proven the parents did not spend much on their daughter. She wouldn't have made an impact on their electric, water, food and personal hygiene bills. SOMEONE NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THAT. THOSE PARENTS NEED TO BE CHARGED WITH AS MANY THINGS AS POSSIBLE. Not sure how easy it is to get real estate agent to sell it and then deal with it when your wife is in one jail and you're in another so that house is going probably sit for years now and not be taken care of. For the neighbors you hope there is a a mortgage that way when the bill is not paid the home goes to the bank and they sell it. But I would like to know why this girl just never got up and left the home if her family was not feeding her. I know I would not have stayed there. The daughter picture looks like just a normal young women so I do not understand how someone stay in a home. There was nothing that stated the daughter was not capable of leaving or calling for help before she literally got stuck to the couch.

To be real... My next-door neighbor they were taking care of her mom. The mom died in the house from natural causes. I found out by talking to my neighbor, her mom was living with them for 10 years.👈 I said, "What, really 10 years your mom lived with yall." She replied, "You really didn't know?" (I said, no 🫣), because I never saw her outside in the front yard or backyard, I never saw your mom walk your dogs. Nothing. So I can understand how people don't know who lived in their house. I live in a really private subdivision where I only know my neighbors, not anyone across the street, down the street, or by my mailbox. To me, it's not that Far-fetch'd that no one knew their daughter was in the house. I wish the daughter would have gone to a mental hospital, but those could be expensive for a family. I just think the parents called the police very late, and I think they should do time in a mental health hospital, not prison. The story is a little over the top fir me, and the parents are not mentally well. 😮
