I think you can find Sinomacrops in the jungle area by the swamp. You cant fly in most of the caves, BUT if you bring one in on your shoulder you can throw it off and absolutely wreck the little spiders. If you bread them up you can carrier them in one at a time and have a shoulder pet army in caves.

I'm on a server with this map and I haven't found this cave but have found the shimmer equus in 2 other caves. Shimmer unicorn has a cave near the artifact cave that jimbo uploaded a day before you, evo and syntac. Also good thing you brought kibble to tame cause shimmer equus/unicorns tame on carrots about as well as a normal equus tames on berries

The shimmer horses can get different patters from their parents and also mutate up, but took me forever breeding to manage that. Edit: spelling
