I kept waiting for when you were going to say something about the boy having gone missing or even finding him there. Why do that? I have a feeling this was Grandma's house, she remarried and moved in with new husband and turned the keys over to grandson for while he was in college. Grandma died and it went into probate and grandson was forced to leave until family fighting over the land is done. The house being in probate would explain why there is still electricity - the estate is paying the basic utilities.

The furnace in the living room is not a furnace it's an old wood burning stove. People used to heat their homes with them and still do heater homes with them. You can even if they're flat on top cook on them.

Yes, and the "crossbows" he mentioned were actually just a couple of arrows. And the shotgun shells also have more than just "3 or 4 pellets" inside them too. 😂 PS .... I also love wood burning stoves. I always had heat when the power went out, but not only that, I used to boil water on top of it and used it to fill a hot baths, as well as cooking on the top of it. If I am to speculate, I would say the boy was the grandson, he grew up there, he lived with Grandma and his dad, he had his own things, the musical instruments, gaming room, and exercise room were not for Grandma. Then he got busted, went to prison, and Grandma died, leaving the house behind. That is a nice piano, who would leave it there to rot? I would imagine there was something there with names on it that you could research if you really thought he was "missing". lol🥴

My guess is that the red and black room is a game room. The low-hanging chandelier would've been hung over a table of some kind, either a game table or a pool table maybe. You'd usually see a fixture hung that low over a dining room table.

$500 a month? How outrageous! Save your money, move out to the rural, maybe into an old house with a woodstove. They tryed to do the same here in Washington state, told me I can't put in a woodstove in 2009 when I built my new home. After they left, I put in a wood stove and I love to cook on it. Yes I live in the rural, 1/2 mile from the road and never heard a word from them. If it's your only heat source, there isn't a lot they can do about it. I wish you luck and the end of Trudeau.

I had a multi rental property. When a tenant left the electricity would be discontinued with the electric company. When I went in to repaint, etc. the electric was always still on, and I wasn't paying for it and I know my old tenants wouldn't be paying for it.

You're really not supposed to turn off and on lights in an abandoned house because you don't know if wires have been stripped and may cause a fire or what you could be igniting to that fusebox. That's not a furnace its a wood burning stove aka cast iron fireplace and yes it was originally duct out; They are also still being made and Home Depot/Lowes sale them. His prints are on everything he touches in the house, you just never know. That's why many explorers wear gloves. And one should also try to put things back as they found them, just for decency. My husband put a wood burning stove in our living room when we moved in, we're using it right now... saves on the electric bill and its a good back up when the power goes off in the winter.

I think it’s fascinating exploring abandoned places. One thing I suggest when the power is still on at these places-please SHUT OFF lights or UNPLUG appliances and TVs, etc. the tax payers are footing the bill for power that’s not being paid for….unless you know for certain someone owns it and gives you permission to go in. I’d hate for others to have to have higher power bills because of this.

If someone unfortunate person couldn't afford to pay their bill most likely the electricity would get turned off on them. Maybe this house is set to auto-pay and the money is coming out of their bank. I don't get it either. I don't see how they could charge anyone else since in most places they have to read the meter, although they could build it in to price increases I suppose. Very strange.

Yup I'm one of them! I liked his videos until this one came along. Said he respected people's things but went through everything they owned and even dropped things on the floor and no missing person and the police were for them trespassing. Must be desperate to post videos! Last one for me!
