It's not just Geto's body fighting back because someone is using it, non-Geto has been using him for almost a year at this point. He also had the girls around who probably tried to "wake up" Geto's soul too but it didn't work. His soul remains responded to Gojo and the mangaka explained that it's almost muscle memory for Geto to protect Gojo who's about to get sealed. Also, it's the first time something like that happened in all the years non-Geto had been using this technique which probably speaks to both Geto's strength and his bond with Gojo.

Great reaction. FYI, the blonde dude with the sword that stabs our beloved assistant was seen briefly in season 1 during the tournament arc. He showed up with the sword, was about to stab Urahime until Nobara and Mai showed up, Gojo then broke the veil and he skedaddled like a punk. Then he briefly thought about killing a very injured Hanami until Mahito put him in his place.

No, Geto acted that way because Gojo called out to him. He wanted to protect Gojo. I'm convinced that 50% of manga readers are incels who had a shitty childhood. Reading the manga doesn't make you special, it takes less than a minute to pull up the manga for free. Some readers get some sense of power over anime watchers which is a sign they aren't in control of their life outside of anime, it's quite sad.
