this goes higher up than UK law,,,,, ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down (article 10). allows filming in the public sector, even people ( include minors and staff )in public and in public buildings and government buildings , everything you can see from public (even if you point into private buildings and sites) you can photo and record it since November 4, 1950. as an example Google Earth (with zoom) google maps, google street view, DRONE LEGISLATION ARISES FROM THIS LAW, cars with a dash cam going by this law

Great video mate and footage from drone, but are you actually BREAKING THE LAW as they said it was all PRIVATELY owned and in theory, you needed to film and fly drone from a PUBLIC area? Like I say, great video but you still took off on so called Private land. Yes, maybe no flight restrictions above the land but again launched on private property without owners consent. I maybe wrong but if so correct me my friend. Its just all videos I watch on Audits from other great guys such as DJ Audits and DJE Media, they move to public areas to launch and fly over such areas and when Police have arrived, officers have stated not illegal as launched from Public and not Private area. As say, If I'm wrong I apologize, but think I am correct that in theory you were breaking the law with filming and flying mate.
