Well ya see the thing is sonic always holds back and gets faster and stronger with every passing second and day so this is his true speed around the time O6 which is just so fast that things like boulders just crumble from his mere Shockwave without the boost technique even activated. His true true speed can be seen in unleashed if you upgrade normal Sonic to 100% and then do one of the speed glitches with the boost. Essentially Sonic holdes back so nobody seriously gets injured by his power.
