People associate bad or evil with someone if they think one of their attributes is bad or evil. They associated evil and bad happenings with Bruno and thus this song happens because they "don't talk about Bruno" or bad happenings. He was never bad people just associated bad with him making them feel negatively towards him.

It's a case of "Shoot the messenger". Bruno's give lets him see into the future, but for some reason he could only see bad things. When he shares these visions, or even common knowledge, people take them too literally and end up doing the very thing that led to said bad thing happening. That caused people to believe he was a jinx.
