I disagree for one reason, it would get stale. No matter how good something is, if it is overdone it becomes generic and boring. Classic Disney music used to be top shelf quality but they stuck to the formula for so long that it became stale, that's why Lin Manuel Miranda's sound is so fresh and new. They need to experiment with more new styles, not just choose a new standard

My boyfriend pestered me for like 2 days to listen to this song and I was like no! (For no real reason I just was being a brat.) After seeing the ending to the song, I didn't say anything I just picked up the remote. Turned on the TV, and opened up Disney channel because I was watching this freaking movie! And then I cried for a like a full quarter of the movie and was kind of an emotional wreck for most of the next day... Movie is fantastic, but it REALLY gets ya in the feels.

El vallenato no suena para nada en esta canción (y mejor porque se la hubiera tirado). La base es un son montuno, que es un ritmo antillano, pero no colombiano. La parte de Dolores es un rap y la de Camilo suena más a pop. Lo único que no es muy "colombiano" aquí es la música. En lo demás, Disney acertó en la ambientanción de diversos elementos visuales colombianos.

Camilo the variety of races and ethnic groups of the country. Dolores gossip. Antonio biodiversity. Isabela the flora. Juliet the gastronomy. Luisa the work of the Colombian, could we say (? 5. All the clothes you see in the movie, including hats, are cultural from all over the country. That is why it is disrespectful to us that Disney sells it. 6. Candles represent a lot in our culture, in fact we have a day dedicated to lighting candles. Hence why the candles in the movie. 7.The palma de Cera that is mentioned in Isabela's song, and seen throughout the town, is the national tree of Colombia, and is the largest type of palm in the world. 8. The yellow butterflies represent one of the novels by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a Colombian literature Nobel Prize winner. 9. Violence in Colombia is a very big issue, which continues to be experienced to this day. In the grandmother's past we can see Forced Displacement. Colombia is the country with the most internally displaced people in the world. 10. And the flower parade. Ik that u already mentioned the biodiversity but, flowers are almost an icon as well as the parades of the “silleteros” or the flower’s parade, something very traditional here.
