Hear me out, feather is the reincarnation of an ancient god. In the animatic “love like you” we can see a figure that looks like feather on a stained glass window. Stained glass windows are commonly found in churches. In the depiction we can also see a ship. In the animatic love like you we can see feather injured, impaled in the chest and sinking in water as some sort of flashback. In this animatic the OC’s are part of some sort of paranormal investigation group. They were tasked with checking out the ruins of an ancient ship for paranormal activity. However feather knows what happened there. That was the spot we’re he died. My thoughts anyway. Great animatic.

So, is Feather actually a God? Like, it's said he never was, but that uses past tense, and humans don't exactly fall asleep for 1000 years on end. Judging from what is shown in the flashbacks, I think he was either cursed again, or somehow managed to become a god, but hey that's just a theory. Also, lovely work! This world you've crafted is super engaging in lore and accompanied by beautiful drawings, can't wait to see what comes next!
