Code Red is my go to. Since y'all are arguing over what's better fountain or bottle, you three should do blind test same drinks from fountain, can and bottles. To me it depends on the drink. Some are better as fountain and others are better in bottle or can.

Cam and Austin said they love fountain drinks the most, yet they complained of them all being flat during the test. Coincidence? I think not. I prefer bottle because you can preserve the carbonation. I’m a sipping kind of gal so ice and open containers are not my jam.

I really like the Maui Burst, Baja Gold, and Mango gem. I really liked the Merry Mash-up too. They need to bring that back. It was a limited flavor (cranberry pomegranate) released around Christmas from 2018-2020. Better then the Gingerbread Snap'd.

There are a couple of those that I haven't tried, but out of the ones I've had, Baja Blast is my top Dew. Fountain Baja that is. I would agree with the two that didn't like it, mainly Austin, Gingerbread Snap'd is horrendous; I had to throw it away.

Worked at PBV who bottles MTDew. Fountain drinks are shipped to customers as a syrup, the customer adds the carbonation on site. Cans and bottles have carbonation added during the bottling process and are closely monitored and tasted by quality control techs. Who add or subtract carbon/syrup ratio to fit customer's requirements. So there is a major difference between bottles and cans vs fountain.

I KNEW something wasn't right by the colors in the glasses until Jess said she added food coloring to each. There 3 discontinued flavors coming back but can only find them in certain store which pisses TONS of us off as there's no Krogers or other West Coast stores here on the East Coast like Thrashed Apple 😭😭😭😭 Pitch Black and Livewire are my ultimate favorite flavors and heard they're maing a coming back but can't think of the 3rd flavor... Bottle soda is the best followed by can then fountain. Fountain drinks are literally syrup in bags connected to the fountain that mixes it with water. The fountains where I worked were cleaned every evening, but some people didn't clean them properly, and the less popular drinks would be connected to the fountain for days.

I'm known for trying any new soda flavor but especially MTN. Dew but I haven't even heard of the berry monsoon, cyclone or Gogi berry. I want to try the thrashed apple but don't have the store that sells it close to me. Sweet lightning is delicious so I'm glad to see it get the love. Voltage, Baja blast and pitch black are all favorites.... Then again I haven't tasted them blindly lol. I'd say fountain is best, then can and then bottle. Bottles taste too flat in comparison to the other two. However, Zach is right on the Baja, it taste flatter in the fountain and better from a can or bottle. Lastly, it's fun having part of the crowd on MenTry. Should definitely happen more often!

Pitch Black is black currants, which is not a normal flavor (or berry to be exposed to) in the US but is extremely common in the UK. It was limited edition and only comes out occasionally now. But deserves a come back, by far one of my favorites of the brand.

This was so funny! Couple of tips, 1. soda crackers will cleanse the palette of your tongue between flavors. 2. Coffee beans help reset your scent when Smelling different varieties of scents. Hope this helps. I enjoyed laughing along with the three of you.

I've pretty much tried all these flavors of Mountain Dew, even from certain restaurants and stores. I gotta say, I don't have a personal favorite flavor. I do like the real sugar Mountain Dew. It's like a step back in time when pretty much all sodas back then had real sugar. But the flavors I have trouble finding are Pitch Black, which I didn't know they still made, and Live Wire. Live Wire is only available in certain regions of the US. Down here in northern Alabama, Buffalo Rock provides most of the Pepsico products. Live Wire isn't included. It's from an independent bottler I guess.

I like both of them and tend to lean closer to code red because it brings my teen years back to me. I am 33 years old now and can remember drinking code red in high school sometimes.
