Thank you for your kind words. We felt pretty sorry for ourselves for a couple of days but we are fortunate enough to be surrounded by some real experts. They walked us through the job and in the end its proven to be an invaluable experience!

Nice to see you young folks taking on these repairs yourselves. As a young lad, back in the mid 70s, I delivered sailboats on both East and West Coasts of America and sailed all over for 30 years. My first boat was a Cape Dory 25, which I bought 1 year old. I did everything to that boat over the years and also restored many others, including wooden boats we stripped down to nothing and finished back to new. Enjoy your cruising. This is the first video of yours I've seen. I just may enjoy more. Nice job.

😂 we never realized our boat name could be read like that! It's French and it refers to a pre-dinner ritual where you get together with some friends and have little bites to eat and maybe a drink.

I think subtitles is only done on the watchers end. In settings at the top. It says captions on or off and auto translate. That is what I see, maybe I am wrong.
