Me and the missus did the tele track in 2019. It wasn't as wet as in this video. We only needed the winch at Palm Creek - which wasn't as bad as in your video. And the missus drove the RC Colorado down the Gunshot chute. But we could only do the first half of the northern part of the tele track - Mistake Creek was a one way drop and Logans etc were flooded - so we gave it a miss and took the trackout to the PDR.

I'm surprised you didnt do gunshot. I did the tele a couple weeks ago in my hilux on 30 inch split rims and found gunshot way easier than palm creek entry. You just slide down into a mud slurry and simply drive straight out, no damage.

So with the bullbar. Do you know if it was a faulty bracket they bent or something else? I've got an Ironman bar on mine and wonder if I need to keep and eye on it when winching. Cheers. Love the content. Sorry about your camera. And I think MIT's have some sort of deal if you actually break something of there's.

That bracket looked WAY too flimsy, and made of cheap soft steel to boot. Probably deliberate to pass compliance - ie, hit a pedestrian and it should bend. I'd just make some replacement brackets out of a decent piece of much stronger steel. Then again my experience with Ironman gear is to stay well away. To their credit they didn't shirk on warranty replacements for the dud foam cell shocks which were meant to be the duck's guts, and weren't.

The roads up north are very dusty , it’s a pre filter so the main filter doesn’t need changing so often . Unifilter makes them mate 😎

You boys are all running big tyres and big lifts - do you all use diff drops to keep the CV angles safe?

The navara and hilux are both Twin Locked which means you can be wayyyy safer on the driveline as you can see, we are able to crawl safely up everything. Diff drop would be helpful but ive not needed it yet.
