Can't believe we drove all the way from Bali to Bromo, 700km covered on our epic scooter / bike trip already! In this vlog we di the famous sunrise hike up to King Kong Hill viewpoint and AFTERWARDS we get a ride from some locals on dirt bikes and hike INSIDE Bromo Crater and across the famous Sea of Sand.
One of my TOP 10 travel experiences ever, loving this Indonesia travel series and all of East Java!

Great place to stay, Lava View Lodge. We enjoyed a couple of weeks there way back in 2005. I also just called in there late last year when we were staying for a week last November. Right now we are on the slopes of Semeru for a night.

You should also climb to Mt penajakan to see Bromo crater from above with Mt Semeru behind it smoking every 15 minutes. Spectacular.

I was in Malang in 2019 and heard Mt.Bromo was a must visit place but didn't want to take the jeep tour like everyone else so I rented a dirtbike instead and ended up taking a backroad to get there, mind you I arrived later in the evening so no crowds it was completely empty but then it became night time and it was pitch black and I was lost through the sea of sand because there were no signs and couldn't take the way I came in back out but managed to find my way back to Malang by some miracle it was the most adventurous scary feeling ever and the highlight of my trip backpacking thru SE Asia

@@vitalikbuterin1828 its crazy you mentioned that because I did see something strange in the dark there was an "object" reflecting from the light of the dirt bike in the distance and as I was riding it seemed as if it were following me but it was hard to judge because I was going forward so at some point I would have crossed it. It still gives me goosebumps thinking about the experience

@@musicjunky91 in 2016-2018 my cousin really like to go to bromo by motorbike at night. he said that something following him in lautan pasir (sea of sand), and he hear a strange noises like lady laugh.his friend were too scared to look at it.

Wow there are some instagramable captured in this video. It's like a wallpaper on desktop to me. Incredible. This is when westerners got cold in tropical country without snow :D We feel cooler in tropical country coz the humidity is so high. Back then, I still remember when passenger plane sukhoi went crashed in mount Salak Some Russian SAR & army joined Indonesian SARS & Army to looking for that crashed plane. Then two Russian must go down from that mountain coz they got froze-bite!! Russian can't handle the cold weather in Indonesia. It's funny huh? But it's true Lmao

you have to try hike mount semeru one day, it's probably my most challenging and amazing experience in my life, the view is amazing especially when it's in the first camp ground by the lake ranu kumbolo. i love your video, thanks for sharing, keep make a good content, i wish the best luck for your channel. definitely subscribed.

The most amazing view of Grandeur Bromo is when the fog floods the sandy land below you and the timelapse camera will recording the floating fog across the cliffs of the countryside. Unfortunately, you visit it not at the most perfect time.

I recommend you next trip to TANGKUBAN PERAHU crater, located northern part of Bandung city in West Java, you can drive by car till the edges of crater👌👍
