I feel like the people asking these questions have never interrogated the "animal's experience" for most commercially available meat. Great conversation to hear, I really enjoyed it. It's never thoughtful, educated hunters who need to actually hear all this great stuff, but I'm glad you put it out there anyway.

I have never hunted anything(but i want to). 90% of my diet is plant based(by choice). This podcast was enlightening and taught me so much. Thank you to Team Mayhem for this content. Robbie Kröger is the man. Good dude!

Great Stuff.... :) Thank you for discussing the issue. When I teach my Hunter Ed Class and host my hunting/fishing camps I always give the kids Froning Farms Bison Jerky for snacks... :)

People will be complaining about how hunting is “so cruel” while eating a burger from McDonald’s. 😂 Harvesting a wild animal is the most ethical way to get meat.

Great podcast! I was not aware of Blood Origins prior to this but very well articulated. Hunting is in our blood as humans. I am going in to my 33rd season bowhunting.

There are parts of Northern Botswana where they stopped hunting of elephants. What we saw was the landscape became desert like and dry because the elephant numbers has grown so much and they were breaking so many trees. Even parts of the grasslands around that part of the Chobe started to disappear

Great podcast as always but a discussion with people who agree with each other is more of an easy conversation, wich is very pleasant to hear but not very productive for debate or to listen. Thank you nonetheless for providing this, always a good time.

You guys should check out Adam Kavanagh. He is a dude that lives in the bush of Australia and DOES hunt animals with his bare hands. Dude jumps off the back of trucks and wrestles wild cattle to the ground. He also uses "persistence hunting", which is basically chasing an animal until it's heart explodes. Not sure if those are cruel methods or not, but they would level the playing field. Dr. Anthony Chaffee (The Carnivore MD) did an interview with him and it's here on youtube. Apparently if I link it my comment gets deleted though so... Blood Origins should interview him, if there is anyone hunting and living more legit than this dude, they are hard to find.

To convey an accurate message, the listener needs to understand the point of view , perhaps ?

Loved this!! The only places on earth where wildlife are thriving in numbers and diversity is America and Southern Africa, Funny that those 2 places are the some of the only places where hunting is allowed....😁

People really don’t like when you talk about hunting, I mean look at the views this video has received in the three days it’s been up, 6.4k. Your videos routinely get well over 20k views, nobody wants to watch this, which is too bad because all the people not tuning in are probably the ones who need to learn the truth about hunting. Anyway, great episode, I appreciated all the information from a very knowledgeable source.

Humans are omnivores, we eat meat as well as veggies. As long as you eat what you hunt, you are doing a healthy and natural behavior.

What about when the ultra wealthy hunt humans like the 1994 classic Surviving the Game starting Ice Tea. Is that cruel?
