China doesn’t recognise our international driving license. You need to apply to get a temporary license, so technically it’s illegal (even though some rental companies don’t check) :/

Many Singaporeans forget their recent Chinese roots, become Westernised, follow Western media that deliberately rubbishes and slander China. For instance, CNA in Singapore's take on China is often like those from CNN and the BBC. I call these people "baba xiao" (a very crude term commonly used in Malaya/Singapore over 60 years ago).

Hello, thanks for watching and commenting! There are many rental companies all across, we scanned a QR provided by our hotel and then connected with the car company. Shouldn't be hard to find one!

Jokes aside, i was told to drive in china, you will need to get a temporary license(valid for 90days) but wasnt sure about the steps involved.

Hello, yes we travelled by DiDi which we accessed from WeChat and we also made payment by linking our card to WeChat and paid everything from there!

the other thing about the mushrooms was it needs to be cooked properly else some can be mildly poisonous, i remember there's a cavern in stone forest where to walk up you may need a caddy to carry you up if you wandered into the cavern.

Yes we were, they didn't ask for a license but there was some official deposit we had to make through an app provided by them.
