The other day, I fell asleep while listening to one of his stories. By god, I fell from my bed when I heard the weird noise of Jordan trying to emulate the voice of a child. I was so scared, it took me two ciggerates to calm down.. 😂😂😂😂

This was refreshingly classic. It was a familiar tale we've heard from before. Those coming of age stories where a person, place, or thing is connected to the protagonist through foreshadowing and the story unweaves through the years to show us the hows and whys. These types of stories never get old if done right. And this did not disappoint.

Sigh... this is a huge thing I hate about most "urban explorers", there are beautifully preserved homes with everything intact just missing it's people, or beautiful liminal spaces just missing the life that existed in it, but humans like Bill, and the hundreds of thousands more of humans who just enjoy destroying things.

I'm not a fan of making assumptions about the author based on the stories they write. As an author, I can assure you that we are quite capable of creating characters and stories without any connection to our own mental health or life experiences. 💚

Wow! How exciting! I remember when I first discovered Jordan's channel. I was immediately hooked. I second the suggestion that you check out the Hollow's End series. Some other incredible series are: "I inherited a shifty bar from my Uncle", "I work as a professional monster hunter", "I'm a monster hitman", and "I'm an elevator repairman". There are more, but that will keep you busy for a while. Enjoy!!!

SAME!! ZERO personal responsibility for all the deaths; 1st hand + all related, are, on HIM! At least his 1/3 of 3 who begat this stupid plan. His "remorse" only comes forth when he HAS TO say it. This is Steven’s villain origin story 😂poor little guy didn’t even know. He was loaded with black coffee that’s what we drink at work to stay up. Poor guy was ready to partay 😂15 years later he realized how they used him. Poor kid should’ve stayed home they should’ve made him. Poor baby thought he was gonna get treasure. And that junkie brother is no good and that’s not because I’m a mom. He’s just crap. Should’ve left those kids alone. I hope he finds his way out of that monster house and gets sweet revenge.

I hate this whole dangerous bully brother trope going on in this story. Kind of makes the whole thing suck for me. An older brother that picks on you? Yeah. But one that literally physically abuses? That's a nope for me. Just weird. I don't think it was at all necessary to even introduce him as a character. Totally had a Goonies/Stand By Me vibe up until the brother.
