WE FAILED TO SUMMIT ACATENANGO VOLCANO IN GUATEMALA

Well...we failed to summit Acatenango Volcano and you will find out why in this video. Acatenango Volcano is a dormant volcano located in Guatemala. It sits directly across from Fuego Volcano which is an active volcano. This hike is one of the most popular things to do in Guatemala for the sole reason that at the top of Acatenango, you can see Fuego Volcano erupting all night long! This was a once in a lifetime experience and something we will remember forever ❤️

This video bring back my memories, I climbed this volcano in 1988. Because there was not trail it took us 12 hours. The night was unforgivable i almost freeze to dead. If i remember well the summit has 2 peaks.

Great video guys, it brought us right back to the mighty Acatenango! You made the first part of the hike up to base camp look super easy :) Excellent work on the sound design and music score. Too bad you couldn't get to the summit, the view from up there is spectacular - especially at sunrise. But at least you got the most important thing out of the hike, to whitness Fuego erupting up close.

Holy moly! What an experience, how many miles up to Basecamp was this? You guys seriously are doing amazing and I love tuning into your videos. I keep having to remind myself that mother nature still gives us so much beauty
