You're right, I feel like it should be more gritty. As an original trilogy fan, it may not be for me. It feels like it could be any sci-fi spaceship; like if you just changed the characters, it could be the Starship Enterprise. I think it would be cool if it was more like a bigger, Jabba's Barge! But that may be too gritty for some, lol.

I've loved watching your videos about the Galactic Starcruiser at Disney! I am a huge Star Wars fan. Had never been to Disney. Went for the first time just a few weeks ago. Loved Magic Kingdom but had a bad experience at Hollywood Studios. I loved Star Tours but the fun of the day ended there. So seeing all of this, which I could not hope to afford, has been awesome. I just got back to Disneyland in CA after 2 years away due to circumstances the world heaped upon us all. I didn’t realise just how much I missed it until I was back. The only way I’d ever be able to go is for sure going with a group of 5 to split it all. But the experience does look worth it. Visually, on our end, this looks like a movie set. It comes off looking so cool! And I am not even a Star Wars fan. It think it’s ridiculous in this day and age to pay this much for a 2 day experience. Very much so reminds me of a cruise ship with the room sizing. Interesting concept to make a cruise experience on land/space lol. I like what you mentioned about the original trilogy having your heart. It all seems Star Wars adjacent and not quite the Star Wars I would care to see. I’m sure many others will enjoy tho!

We just finished our cruise and it was AMAZING! Best thing Disney has ever done. I'm glad you had a great experience too. So many bloggers are negative and never even been on it. One thing I do want to state, is that while it is very expensive, it is worth the expense. I would rather have it done as well as they did and have it be expensive, than do it on the cheap and have a lesser experience. It's like saying, "I love the Ritz Carlton, but I wish they could do it so everybody could afford to stay there." Well, the reason people can't all afford to stay there is because it is so nice. I can't fathom how much money they sunk into this. Including the work in Bantu in Galaxy's Edge to customize that experience for Starcruiser guests. It blew me away when the rides were different because it knew I was on the Halcyon. If that means it's super expensive, so be it. Please don't cheapen it up and make the experience less that it should be.
