I found several handmade stands on my farm. I knew who they belonged to.... same poacher I've battled for 30+ years. I hooked a chain from my tractor to his stands, pulled them down, then used the bucket to beat them into tiny pieces. Dumped them over the fence onto his property. He came to me and actually bitched about me destroying his hard work. Told him they were on MY trees without permission and I got rid of them. Oooops sorry if they were so brittles they were bashed into bits smaller than credit cards , but I tried to return as much of them to him as possible. It was quite gratifying.

Get some barbed wire fence and put it across the trail in multiple places. If you come back and it is cut/stretched,put cameras where you put the barbed wire because they will stop the next time they are there to see if there is more. It worked for us

Sam Moyer I’m a lawyer. Trust me, it isn’t lawful to lay traps on property. Good way to get arrested, great way to get sued for millions. The law varies from state to state on what duty is owed to trespassers but boobytrapping trespassers is going to be unlawful in every jurisdiction I know of. This goes ten fold if you end up hurting kids.

To answer people’s curiosity about sueing from a trespasser.. heres the answer.... It is incredibly rare for a trespasser to successfully sue a property owner for an injury, but it is not unheard of. Generally speaking, if someone trespasses on your property and they get hurt, you will not be liable. You are free from blame unless: You have acted violently or aggressively toward the intruder, which causes injury.. hope this helps.

The white work truck and the guys on 4wheelers look to be workers may be working on power lines close by and looking to for a way to get close to them, They work with a tree serves its called Burfords Tree Inc burfords.ourcareerpages.com/ I knew something was up when I saw the kind of helmets they had on. We had a lot of damage in our town with trees and power lines down and a lot of the guys in the same trucks came in to help clear trees so the power company could get back on for us if it had not been for the guys we would have gone weeks without power.
