@@pecanacrescattlellc5817 I don’t know who in their right mind could think homesteading is a lower class of living but whomever they are they just don’t have a clue! I mean you are working as a family and working hard which is how are bodies were meant to move and you are having a direct connection with your animals which will become your food. You are giving them the very best life just as they will end up being the very best food you could hope for. Is it easy to live the homesteading life? Absolutely not, is it worth it? Well just ask kids from the inner city to compare how you get to put in a day compared to how they have to and the differences between the two throughout their days!! I can guarantee they would jump for a chance to be out in the country running around not having the fear that kids today have. Besides the bigger the house the stronger the wifi needs to be so the kids can txt u no matter where in the house you are. Lol! Sad but true!! Wishing you the very best in the next chapter for your family!!🙏🏻🥰🇨🇦

@@mariek8578 really? Because “bless your heart” is a very sincere response, when I’m so surprised by something that someone did for me or when I feel genuinely thankful for something that someone has done for me. I suppose it depends on the content which can be what makes the English language so difficult for some. Because I do understand what you mean that it can be said in a sarcastic disingenuous manner. But I prefer to look at people based on what they say and take their words at face value so when they say “bless your heart” I’m always going to take it at it’s word and believe the person is being genuine.🥰🙏🏻🇨🇦

What most don't understand or don't remember but when I was growing up there were extra large families where 5 or 6 girls were in one bedroom and about that many boys in theirs and we were just fine and grew up loving being close. What living is truly all about! Too much space and not enough closeness of families anymore for sure along with living out in the country where a kid grows strong and happy. Not everyone has this opportunity but it sure ain't a bad thing but a great thing for kids....👍👍👍👍👍👍💕

We loved in the camper for a year while building the house. I was great! Got to watch how construction started....changedcevery working day ... and finished. Couple of recommendations. Put some road base under the camper. You will appreciate the solid landing when there is rain, snow etcetera. Put an outdoor firepit near the door. Make a porch with cover for the door large enough to sit and watch the weather. After the house is built, you can move the camper and put in an above ground pool nest to it. You can also screen in 3 sides to limit the flies and other pest from getting into the camper.

Shade will be a plus for the camper this summer. Of course it’s a camper so you can move it if you don’t like the spot. Such a fun life. I enjoy watching you and love you all. Love Brandi’s accent.

Just make sure you get your septic tank or sewer in for the bathroom- that is the only issue that could arise in this heat! you'll be fine!

Video and audio were great. We built our house small so when we retire it will be the right size for us. People always told us the boys rooms were too small. My response was always that they have 21 acres to run on. How long do you think they will be in there rooms? Love your ideas and concepts. Take care and stay safe, Al

Here is something that will help and temporary after the camper is setup a 12X16 or a 16X16 screen in room with a metal top and fine gravel or sand floor. It will give you more living room and a place to get away from the bugs and ticks just spray the bottom and the door way with a 50/50 Vinegar-water mixture. Just a thought I hope this helps.

I agree you are doing a wonderful thing for your family. Your girls always look happy and understand that you all have to work together for a project to be done right the first time. I agree get guinea hens!! They are loud guard birds and keep tick population down.
