We finally did it... (VAN TOUR 2023 - Vintage Bedford CF camper van for hire!)

After 5 gruelling years, our dream has finally come true. Back in 2018 we bought a 1979 Bedford CF from a barn on Bodmin Moor. We had huge plans to convert it in to a bespoke camper van, to hire out and ultimately enable us to travel further for longer.
We had no skillset for such grand designs, but we persevered and the final result was everything we imagined it would be, and then some.
As we were readying ourselves to hire out the van, our lives changed forever as we were offered a dream job; travelling the world and visiting hidden hot springs, with the backing of Japan's equivalent to the BBC.
FIVE years after this van build journey began, we can finally say. WE DID IT!

I hope this video is a few weeks old because otherwise you've missed the height of the season. Nevertheless, I think you'll get a few takers for this as it's fairly unusual. May I suggest you try advertising on some of the alternative old car sites such as Pistonheads, Autoshite, Retrorides, etc? Is your new van a BMC J4? I can't think of anything much more under dog than that, and I know someone local who sold one not long ago. Best wishes.

You got us there! We did actually film this in late July but ended up being so busy we didn’t get round to editing and uploading this week! Fortunately we had a very good half season and were almost fully booked throughout August- people seem to love it! And that’s a great suggestion! You mean to advertise it as a hire van on those sites? Or just talk about the build? Wow we’d love to have one of those! But sadly not. Definitely have a penchant for old British vehicles though 😂
