We Finally Did It!

We are still in disbelief at the change. Last Spring we still had debris from the trees and had floods all over the yard because it was down to the clay. It was a very unappealing backyard. Now, the kids are really looking forward to a yard full of green grass to play in next year. It’s been quite an adventure, but glad we went through it!

Looks great! We hand seeded a few yards, did grass plugs in Phoenix (didn't pass out), and did sod. Never had anyone do it for us.😳

We keep adding to it, but it’s never enough. lol We’ll see if adding the latest bags of organic material helps, but if not we’ll go hard on it in the Spring. But we’re very happy with the transformation so far. Like night and day!

Green grass is beautiful and always lovely to look at. You will be very sad when it covered in white stuff!!😊 There is always ongoing issues with lawns so don’t fuss, just enjoy how far your yard has come this year. That is one fine woodpile. HOAs argghhhh!!!!

Yeah, all this work just to have it covered for months. lol But at least there will be something to look forward to in the Spring. And we plan on burning some of that wood once Fall gets in full swing!

Lazer level. Underground water system. Give it 3 years just keep adding dirt. Open bags at Lowe's and home Depot are cheap,25-50 cents a bag! The lawn care nut and the lawn care kid on YT can give Great info. Looks great! Next few years, out door kitchen, built in fire place water feature!

They got used to the new routine pretty quick. Although at one point they “forgot” they were banned from the backyard and a bouncing ball went rolling through it. It left a nice little crater and then we had to walk on it some more to get the ball. We did tell them if they ruined it, we were not going through the process again to redo it, so maybe that worked. lol
