Hey Syntac, here is a little life-saving hint: Next time you fight a boss divide your army into 2 groups and add them to 2 whistle groups. When you enter the boss arena, whistle one group on the boss and set the second one on follow, walk it behind the boss and then whistle them on it, and it should be perfectly surrounded. Its really easy :)

Hey Syn, do the Manta race on Genesis, it Drops Ascendant Megatherium saddles on Alpha, you can get 1-2 every time and the armor is always about 110 or higher!

SYNTAC! get magmasaurs for the dragon, they hard counter him. They are immune to his fire breath, protect you from his dimorphs and fireballs, incinerate his ptera swarm, are buffed by the heat and lava, and they set him on fire uno reverse style. also its usually very easy to get very high armor saddles for them so his bite cant do much either.

You know Syn, you could just use whistle groups in the arena. Split the megatheriums into 2 groups, send 1 in and the other around or have them on follow, move behind the broodmother and then send the 2nd group in. Easy. Might take a few seconds, but in the long run, it could save some of your creatures.

If you use group whistles you can put them in 3 groups and if you can get he pulled to one group then you can whistle the other 2 to each side. Also the ray race gives high level megatherium saddles by the truckload

Great video as always. One way to help surround the bosses I use is to put half of the creatures in Group 1, the other in 2, and all of them in 3. I whistle 1 and 2 to separate sides at the start and then switch to 3 and whistle Attack my Target.

Also big problem too many megas = not every is getting buffed but still taking full dmg, my megas got 150 armor saddles and I was too lazy (and thought I'd run out of time) so I just whistled both groups I had in, lost like half of my megas (18 went in 8 got out)

@@xKibaFTWx 30k health, prim saddles, 400% melee and 8 megatheriums is all you need for damage to beath alpha brood. All you gotta do is fear roar and then you have 25+ seconds to run around the broodmother in circles and heal with a daedon. Then you roar again and the cycle continues. If you bring 3 daedons with 100k food each, your megatheriums will not go down below 20k health. The difference in difficulty is massive when you compare with and without daedons.

@@PierrePelletier1994 Relatively new to the game here...how in the hell are you supposed to keep the daeodon's food up? Whenever I activate his healing, his food drops from 100% to 0 in about 3 seconds. I've heard you're supposed to sit there and force feed him while he heals but I don't see how force feeding would even be adequate. I haven't tried force feeding him kibble though, maybe that's the answer?

I've had an idea to do the boss fight with waves of megatheriums, using multiple whistle groups. After one wave is mostly dead, send in the next. Could try it, I haven't done it myself, I've recently been breeding.

@@Syntac Yeah, I did think of that but it will also make sure that all the ones attacking will probably be actually hitting it, meaning they do more.. damage per megatherium. Ooo new idea: With a tribe of even just two people it could work even easier, if you split the megatherium and surrounded the boss, and then whistled in the megatherium. You could also do this solo by having two whistle groups and starting with one half of the megatheriums, lead them to the back of the boss, and then get the second half and whistle attack on the front? Maybe. Idk, just kinda giving hopefully good ideas. Thanks for replying as well. Sorry if it's confusing or a bit long. The whistling you did also worked nicely, and you had pretty good saddles.

If you're looking for easy loot, the huge entrance room to the Ice Queen cave on Ragnarok (the huge room you access through a hole on the east side of the snow mountain near Viking Bay) is a pretty good place to look. It doesn't have any red drops, but I've gotten a couple of ascendant longnecks out of there. It's also flyer accessible and the drops respawn every time you reload the cave, so that's very useful.

all the drum does is prevent fear roars on your tames and boost stam regen but stam doesn't matter if the creature isn't being ridden so doing it at all would have been redundant

Just lost a boss fight around an hour ago, aberration Rockwell, was mopping the floor with the alpha version but I glitched through the invisible barrier that prevents things from falling into the water. I had to sit and watch for 15 minutes as all my tames were slaughtered or fought until the timer hit 0 and they were insta killed...it's tuff

Had a similar experience of an ark loss! Was caving on val and i attacked a snail then ark crashed. Then i couldnt get back into my save file. I tried everything. But the game wouldnt let me reload the world so i had to wipe it. Rip the multiple projects i had on that world. I had multiple mutation stack projects going. I know i spent a lot of time in this world bcs i decided to restart watching this cluster series while i played. This is my second pass through. Devastated and upset. Snails are my mortal enemy now

I like to set my dinos in squads through the tame groups. Then I'll whistle each squad to a different side of the boss. Then whistle all to attack. That helps ensure a good coverage.

And that’s why I don’t use Megatheriums against broodmommy. Too reliant on the spider minions that the boss might not always spawn. And then when they DO spawn, only like five of the 19 that you bring get the buff. Don’t use Megatheriums against the broodmother boss on island.

We have constantly beaten the alpha brood with megatherium but only use like 6-8. If you take too many in the bug buff doesn't get equally distributed around. 10 or less seems to be the magic number

If you are still planing to do some Deinosuchus mutations I did some searching on all maps and here's my top 3: 1. Valguero (central river, every other I found was at least level 130 - max on my single player is 150) 2. The Center (from Batman Island to the south west of Volcano Island) 3. The Island (they're very common here but mostly low level obviously because it's an official Wildcard map) You should also know that they share spawns with Spinos and Baryonyx...
