Two things. 1. You two, especially with this episode, could be on a PBS channel. You are that good and the chemistry you have with each other and the camera is perfect. I would watch you every week. 2. Love how you bring history and learning in and it's just not another KZbin travel show. Thank you, a new subscriber.

too funny- I am half cajun, part Chitimacha native american and spent my childhood summers in New Iberia with my grand-parents and Charenton where the Chitimacha reservation is. Part of my heart resides in Louisiana.. To see y'all enjoy the state makes my heart smile. I learned the origin of cajun from watching your video! Love it! Love y'all. Learn something new every day.

All the food in Louisiana is delicious!!! Everything! Bread pudding w/brandy sauce. Crawfish pie. Chicory coffee. You limited yourself to a tiny part of of the cuisine. You may like Popeyes Chicken/cajun rice...

It's so nice to see your mom and you experience new things even tho it's not what you prefer I respect you both for going out on a limb and just do what you want. I like that you don't technically label yourself that's a really awesome thing. Everyone should just do what they want/enjoy without the labels. Keep doing what you do 💙🧡💜🖤

Watching your video, and seeing you and your Mum enjoying yourselves gave me an interest to experience it myself too. Incidentally your Mum reminds me of my family who are West Indian and I thought I would mention it since she spoke of Jonny Cakes (We call them Fried Dumplings) .. Does she/You have Caribbean heritage. Thank you for posting Interesting content from your perspectives which i can personally relate to.

You have to try boudin found mostly in northern Louisiana. The best is found at the mom and pop gas stations! Also you have to get a shrimp po'boy! My mom, born and raised in Louisiana, swears that Gulf shrimp is the best!

Welcome to the bayou, love you two. It was funny watching yall eat crawfish and we suck the juice out of the head not eat it. Next time try the crawfish etouffee, and you have to get a shrimp poboy and a daiquiri when you get close to Nawlins well it's NOLA now, post K gentrification... whatcha gonna do. Oh, Praline filled beignets at Loretta's Authentic Pralines (not cafe du monde) it is the 4thish shop on the right in the french market and get that leak fixed asap, we have real rain down here and it's frequent.

@@valmuse2 most of the time yes. Those really long ones. Cut down to about 3 inches. Add small potatoes. The really small ones. And half ears of corn or cut in 3’s. Went to a place in New Orleans when we first ate them. Mmmmm so good
@dianep30714 жыл бұрын
@@AdventureTimeLoui Yes crawfish is a Cajun dish. It’s spicy. I’m sure you can make it milder if your not into spicy. Adding the corn and sausage is also a plus if you eat meat
