I agree that you can up some of the players potential as one of the major flaws in MLB The Show is that the potentials never drastically change positively or negatively and it’s a bit unrealistic so definitely bump up Ragans

Agreed but I do remember one time a play I drafted had high c potential and went up to low A after having a few great seasons. It was cool to see but far too rare. They should have awards and specific war barrier play into potential

It’s not really a huge flaw though, you can have a pitcher at 80 overall who is better than a 90 overall pitcher. Guy at 80 can have high H/9, BB/9 and K/9, but a pretty low stamina. Guy at 90 can have really high stamina, really high HR/9 and average/above average for the rest. Overall means little in MLB

They go up I naturally I just cant tell what makes some players grow they if you see someone go from b/a from c/b and etc they probably had 86+or 76+ or 66+ potential to begin with and they grew to the next potential but I don’t know if it’s plate appearances or what that makes them move up bc most minor league players aren’t putting up 15+ home runs in sim seasons so they just don’t grow that much until you are 4/5 season in , what I like to do is use the real face scan prospects and cool unknown relievers who still have around 71-81 potential and makes for a good franchise imo

pretty sure online we have auto baserunner assist. however i believe if youre playing offline on hof or legend baserunner assist is off and its all user input so youd have to manually return and send runners. at least thats what ive noticed bc ive ran into same baserunning issues... or SDS just has ass product offline bc they dont care about it as much anymore lol

I definitely think Ragans deserves A potential… the comments seem to agree. I also think you should adopt a Madden-esque approach to potential since the Show lacks true progression… maybe multiple big performances, monthly awards, all stars, or end of season rewards should all equal upgrades bigger the accolade the bigger the upgrade! Should add more excitement and more breakout players like AJ

Loasiga did so good because mlb the show likes stats like his. The main stats that matter in sim are H/9 and BB/9. Pitchers that are rated highly in those do better usually

If Bobby Montes could get really good at throwing his pitches, he would do well in higher Ball with better infielders. Your AA infield is probably made up of a lot of 40 and 50 ratings.

Bengal. the Astros were not terrible when the royals won their world series in fact they made the post season both times the royals did and the royals actually beat them in the alds when they won it

I was a year early although the astros were 70-92 and did not make the playoffs in 2014 when the Royals lost the WS
