Synchro Zone prevents attack declaration from any non synchro. Between that and the Barrier Statue of Drought he actually had nothing he could play and no attacks he could declare.

This is a nice deck, though maybe you should run a small runick engine (3 flashing fire, 2 tip, 3 hugin, 1 munin (for heal)) to dodge backrow removal

Alt win cards need better animations if they get pulled off, should have the 20th flame light up with a gong sound as black mist roles in forming the demonic face that cackles.

And i was thinking about this deck running exodia, but you cant afford to have 5 bricks, plus 2 countdowns e 2 morganites, are too much dead draws. I have a version of this deck that i got to master 2. I can send you the decklist, it is pretty much the same, but without necro engine and some touches of my own
