Interesting funny fact. When Jim Carrey pulled the cloth from the table. All the objects was supposed to fall off. But the objects surprisingly stayed on. So him pushing everything off and flipping the table was him improvising in a hilarious way

Fun fact: in the scene where Cindy is interviewing Martha May, you can see her hair is covered in tiny jewels from the angel Grinch made her. The angel was broken but she kept all the jewels that were on it. You can tell it really meant something to her.

You can tell HE really meant something to her. Martha was one of the only ones that knew the Grinch had always had a good heart. She was always in love with him too, she caught feelings when they were in school but I think when she saw how sweet he was and the gift he made for her, she fell for him. It’s not only the hair but she often has green on or in her house. Whether it’s her eye shadow or her decorations, she’s been waiting for him her whole life.

*I love the way Jim Carrey sang the iconic song "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" while adding his own comedic elements to it like the hilarious sound effects. And his freak out when the sleigh takes off. "We're going to die!! We're going to die!! I'm going to throw up, and then I'm going to die!! Mommy, tell it to stop!!"* *Also, I really love how the actress who played Cindy Lou, Taylor Momsen went on to be the front woman and lead singer of a band called The Pretty Reckless. Also, I can sympathize with The Grinch, having been a victim of bullying growing up. I know the feeling of not liking people because of it.*

Okay, My input on this movie. First of all, It's most of the mayor's fault he wanted the town to hate Grinch even as a child he wanted them to bully him, and then years later down the road, he tried to show up for the holiday event Cindy invited him and trying to get him out of his cave and bring everyone together, and then again thanks to the Mayor he goes and ruins it for everyone else by reminding the Grinch of a bad time, it's like he has PTSD just looking at a shaver and the mayor knew exactly what he was doing, Grinch he is reminded of a day that wasn't good for him, and the mayor knew that it would set him off and make everyone fear him once again instead of accepting him for what he is and who he is, he just wants the town to hate him. this whole story is more about bullying the grinch then just Christmas, however, point 2. But I can also see the Grinch's point of views about the greed, and how humans or people never stop asking for things too and always wanted more and more and every year's gifts do end up in the garbage. So, he's not wrong, the town is sort of a greedy town if you ask me, the way they act, and behave, but otherwise this story is mostly about a misunderstood creature who was isolated way too long and because of the bullying he never wanted to go home. SO, he made a new home away from everyone and only has a dog only. Yes, his heart did grow later on, and his heart open up. and Jim did an amazing job of bringing the Grinch to life and making him funny but relatable too. So, that's what I get from this movie, but still, it's a good one and the charismas story is nice in the mix of it all.

Mostly correct, his "family" was having a fish bowl party on the night he was delivered, so all night on his first night on the planet he spent in a tree watching the most adult acts one can witness at that age, and most likely even seen Santa delivering presents that night like he did the night he steals Christmas but Santa didn't see him so he was out there freezing all night, then as he grew up he was likely pushed off to the side during Christmas because of the annual "Christmas party" aka swinger's party. So, instead of his caretakers taking care of him during the holiday they took care of a number of random men instead, then come that faithful holiday at school and it was the final straw.

3:48- Funny how the Whos ostracized Grinch as a menace, but Lou's sons were literally trespassing on someone's property. I like how petty Grinch is, he basically thought they trespassed on my turf, so I'll return the favor. 28:10- The unedited version shows Cindy knowing that was Grinch, just pretended to not know and let him take their stuff. I get annoyed when other reactors are judgmental and call her stupid instead of putting two pieces of the puzzle together to realize she was pretending.

I watched this movie on an 8th of shrooms. once it got to the part where he's fucking with his dog and making faces while springing back and forth...I do not recommend this experience. 🥲🤣
