I grew up in Cornwall from the age of 3 1/2 until I left my family behind for a more exciting life. You definitely put the jam on first followed by the incredibly delicious clotted cream on top. You therefore have the slightly sour taste of the cream then as you bit you get the sweetness of the jam infused with the now awesome clotted cream. Nothing like it in the world and I have been equivalent to 8 1/2)times around the world, four Atlantic crossings and two Pacific crossings and lived in four countries outside of the UK. I am finally coming to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa from Nov'24 to Feb'25. Great videos have been watching them for several days, getting ready for my trip to the most amazing countries on the planet. Thank you so so much.

We did the Puffing Billy Train. Wasn't a big fan of old steam engines, but after taking it, we are now. It was so much fun. Hope you guys are doing ok. Sending much love❤❤ from Castelo Branco , Portugal where we are right now . Harriet, Jim and Yuki

lololol the Hatter & the Hare is just around the corner from my work XD So strange (but nice) to see you really local to me! The hurdy gurdy man wasn't at Puffing Billy when you went though! A pity, he's awesome. It's awesome that they let you hang your legs out again - they forbade it for a while! Puffing Billy is such a lovely old lady, I'm glad you enjoyed the ride!

Loved the video and so glad you enjoyed Puffing Billy! I’ve lived in Melbourne all my life and only did it for the first time two years ago, but I’ve now been back three more times since then, it’s the best!

So cool - have you done the nighttime one?

@@DaneAndStacey I have! I did the Murder on the Puffing Billy event which had actors in character wandering through the train and then you stop off and have an amazing meal and the show continues. Highly recommended if you ever get that chance to do that!

Stunning! If you come again, come in winter and join Belgrave Winter Solstice Lantern Parade, and try making lantern (they'll teach you how) and join the parade.

I want to know how many people have dropped their phones out of the train. :) I cant believe you can still get the little flags to wave out the windows. The Lakeside Visitor Centre is new since I was last there. I agree, I am not sure it adds to the vibe of the whole experience being so modern.

There must be SO many phones that get dropped, we thought the same thing the whole ride there and back

I told you 2 to do Puffing Billy. I told ya. Late October or November is the best time to do it. You better get around to Phillip Island. It is good for a weekend.
