We find some interesting items and maybe even Cookie Monster while metal detecting this old home!

In this episode, on a very, very hot day, we metal detect at one of the oldest homes in Huntsville's Blossomwood neighborhood! It hasn't rained in weeks in Huntsville, and metal detecting mid-day proved to be brutal! Even though it was blazing hot and the dirt was bone dry, we still found nearly 40 good targets (including at least one non-metallic item Christy puts in her hair). As always, we could use a little help identifying some of our finds...comments are always welcome! You should use a brush water can damage copper coins I would recommend letting them dry out really good before doing anything to them

Didn't know that. Well, my impatience dictates that the squirt bottle is going to have to be the happy median between rubbing it dry and doing some more professional cleaning methods. Thanks for the feedback and for watching!
