Looks great - you can certainly see the boating influence in things like the battery disconnect (which is a good thing). We continue to be extremely fascinated by the Nomadic 12V air conditioner you installed. As members of the Airstream Boondockers Club, that could be of great interest for those with the big battery banks. To my knowledge, they are not well known in the RV community outside perhaps of vans.

How much heat will the battery banks produce and what about ventilation. Just curious more than anything. ???

The inverter and the solar charge controller will need some airflow but there should be enough room around them. They aren’t in a closed box so hopefully there is no issue!

Thanks Lester! I'm not sure yet regarding the inverter, we haven't hooked up any AC loads. Will be doing that soon so will let you know!

@@lesterwicklein717 probably depends on what you need to power! We are using 120V for our cooktop, oven, water heater, and for normal appliances like our blender and instapot. There are 12V options, or propane to some of those if you needed to include them!

Where did you place your disconnect switch between inverter and batteries?

There's no disconnect switch between the inverter and the batteries, only the batteries and the system. The inverter is a fused connection to the batteries and enabled / disabled via app or the switch on the inverter itself 😁

We’re planning 3 outlets I think! One in our charging shelf, one in kitchen and one near our table!

Yes! We installed our shore power inlet (and tested it) in our first electrical video! I should have mentioned it here too!
