Man you need to get back with Kyle from XXL chrome this fall. He's been doing some wild stuff lately we aren't too far from the michigan salmon run! I'd love to see you back in my neck of the woods!

They might not be worth it for you, but Owner's Cultiva line (Japanese line) makes great barbless replacement hooks. Not crazy cheap, but of much quality than the Gami's that I normally find here. Those Mustad Siwash look dope, but rhe smallest size is size 1.....too big.

I'm just not a big treble hook guy most of the time. Even bass fishing, I stick with single point rigs. Certain hard baits I keep the trebles on but I don't like handling fish that have multiple trebles stuck in their face. It's only a matter of time before you get one in you.

Epic video Jordan I'm telling you the next time you make that run you take a quarter ounce buoyant Thomas lure in the crawdad color and the always tried and true nickel colors and cast that thing out and let it wobble through some of those holes oh my goodness!!!

Hey Jordan. You should run a contest to find the best DIY gotta have fishing gear bags. Stocker trout kit, steelhead, salmon, etc. Maybe a non boat fishing category as well. Interested in seeing what folks come up with.

Did the same run last week! Made the 18 miles to the fishing boundary in 4 hours! Jordan I know you like to learn new techniques of fishing and would highly recommend trying out Czech nymphing for that river. Also swing a rebel crawdad under the overhanging trees and hold on!

Your comment gets a thumbs down James. Real fisherman enjoy the joy of fishing. Fishing is getting fish to bite your presentation. Harvesting is keeping the fish. Snagging is ripping a hook into an fish's side just to keep it. You sound like a snagger.

Oh btw, you don't "do" fishing, you go fishing. You sound like someone who'd say you do weed
