The clear headlights oxidize in the sun light. After you polish the lens, you might consider the 3M Headlight Film to protect the lens from further oxidation. There is a KZbin video showing how the 3M film is better than the UV spray. Nice video, keep up the great work.

That IS a great option for sure. Would offer some more protection from rocks and bugs too. These would have been a waste for that film due to the micro cracks inside the lens still.

great to see something a tad different, not that i ever get bored of the other stuff, the frame work you do is outstanding, that's why i began watching all of you bros in the beginning, its fascinating and you boyz make it look so easy that SS is built like most planes, different bolts all over haha, i'll never understand why exhausts were never clamped together like aircraft heat ducting etc, i think some modern cars and in particular race cars now use this - i would never do what you did working that manifold in situ but 10 out of 10 for fudging that back together, i would take it off, but then UK motors and foreign tend not to have as much room to work, i would drill out and replace studs with stainless, and use brass nuts as they come undone, strip etc and always come off, even it they need replacing, always keep in stock, and i detest using Heli coils, horrible things when they mess up - that exhaust looked close to the back tyre, eek - i always find light restoration is so time consuming, i found a great product to seal and protect against UV, 4000 grit sand and spray, then light polish wow running out of gas, does it not take same time to get the gas exchanged as to pinching Jakes, (good Jake bails you out haha) in the UK we simply exchange bottles, pay for the gas and away we go, same with camping gas bottles, they are all the same

The reason why his oxygen sensors is not hooked up because he has high-flow cats and high-flow cats will trigger the engine light if the oxygen sensors are hooked on.

Those exhaust bolts you replaced are available with Brass Nuts. That's the way to go so the next guy never has to deal with snapping a stud. (Tips and Tricks from the Rusty North East).

That impala reminded me of my dads car. I had replaced the whole front suspension parts. And then when head gasket went(lucky leaking AF to outside engine) I disassembled engine down to block to install 2 new head gaskets. New gaskets north of block and all new O rings on injectors. Ran really good up and down I-95 from Phila to Delaware Dailey. And rode like a caddy. I miss that car
