Jon. Some of the Otey Crismon putters have a piece of oak on the back of the putter. Also have seen the with brass on the back, I think yours is missing a piece. I have 3 Oteys, and currently using one every week. None of them was over 3.00!

Nice find on the Mismo blades. I was still using my Wilson Staff Fluid Feel blades at the same time. I actually just donated my Wilson blades and my Nike irons to Goodwill as my doctors don't want me to injure my lower back again...nor do they want me to drink use my left knee again. All I have left are my Robert T. Jones irons from the early 1930's, my 1950's era Persimmon, Eye-O-Matic woods, and my 1960's era Persimmon Eye-O-Matic Driver that I could hit almost as far as my Callaway 10° War Bird.. My irons from the late 1800's are still in excellent condition despite being over 120 years old. I still love looking for very old golf clubs to add to my collection.

I am currently playing with a fitted set of MP-57's. Best clubs I have ever had. Took me to a 5 handicap. They replaced my . . . wait for it . . . now back up set, MP-60's, 2nd best set I ever had. I haven't felt much difference between them. I think what made the MP-57's was having them fitted for my loft, lie, & length especially since the stock sets of Mizunos are based on the size Japanese men. If it makes you feel better, I bought the MP-60's at an estate sale for $100 many years ago, brand new. Just needed new grips.

Love my MP-60s! I have them broken out into odds and evens that I use with half sets when I take my kids tot he short course. I have a reverse combo of sorts as I have MP-30 Yoro customs 3-5 and then then the MP-60s 6-9.

Jon I think you have issue with the number 3, you don't like 3 irons or woods, my self I've always loved my 3 wood but have issue with the 3 iron. At the first goodwill there was a Slazenger hybrid you missed it, they use to make really good clubs, probably still do.
