We cannot believe we have lived in British Columbia for a few years now and have not done this hike! This is a staple when coming to BC. You have to hike Joffre Lakes!💯 And we'll show you guys how to do it😉

Dear Max, I have been wishing to hike this for years, but need to have an experienced hiker to do it with. Those steps to Middle Lake, I would not be able to make it without you pulling me up, like you did with Nat.

A good video showing in detail the whole journey from Lower, Middle to Upper Lakes. It is one I have been looking for. Great job 👍

What date and day was your hike? Usually I read that hikers tried to arrive at the car park before 7am !
@NatandMax4 ай бұрын
This was around September during a weekend🙂 That’s true! The earlier the better because parking is limited. I think theres also a reservation system nowadays to limit the people coming to the park so you might have a better experience even if you come later😊

You can actually hike to the Glacier. It’s pretty rough. I got halfway up and decided to turn around. Joffre Lakes is one of my favorite hikes I’ve ever done
@NatandMax Жыл бұрын
Kudos to you for even making it up half way! We saw people climbing the glacier too when we did the hike and were pretty impressed. We’re someone likely to stay on the safe side though😄

Lol, When you pulled out the sushi with salmon I was totally thinking bear bait lol! Just saw the very last outtake where Nat proposed the the question as to who the bear will chase first 🤣 mean! Lol. And I was going to say what a good man you are and how much you watch out for Max!! 😂 Bad boy!! In all seriousness, I am glad you both are okay and survived it with no encounters and am grateful you pushed another 30mins so you could give us such a secluded, one of a kind experience, beyond the gram 🤗🙏🏽. I am curious how tall you are Max? I am only 5’2” and worry about how steep those steps were! They should install a pull rope to help us little ones 😁. I would actually love to see some day or overnight spa tours of BC mixed in with the physical activity! You definitely earned it!!
@NatandMax3 жыл бұрын
Auntie K!!🤣 We didn’t really thought of the salmon being bear bait until you brought it up now😂 Thankfully we didn’t encounter one😁 I’m 5’3” and the steps were so steep!😂 I found myself trying to sit on the stairs and boulders(with a little push from Nat) just to get up there😅 We had so much fun and we’re sure you’ll enjoy it too when you get a chance❤️❤️❤️

Great video.. however, for anyone new looking to hike this trail, it is a very safe and 'busy' trail (compared to so many others)). Also, veryyyyy popular and beautiful. Almost everyone who has joined a hiking group on fbook knows about the lake and hiked it at some point. It is soooo popular that the day passes in summer (free) are sold out very fast. Never at any point u have to worry about not finding ur way to the lake for u will literally see a train of people on the way especially if u r going in summer. I have seen the beginners doing it- provided u take multiple breaks... the elevation is steep at times but alllll my friends new to hiking or even new to the country ended up finishing the hike easily. Many people stop at lake 2 which is equally rewarding

Is it advisable to have Bear spray with you while hiking on this trail Stay safe and stay blessed
@NatandMax3 жыл бұрын
Hi Haque! Although its unlikely to see bears because of how busy the trail is, we would say yes, always take any safety measure with you on any hikes if you have them😊
