I have fished all my life fresh and salt. Absolutely love bass fishing. I have the toys to do most everything but this video is special. I grew up wading small creeks and rivers catching anything that would bite. I still have a love affair with this type fishing. Kids and fishing, nothing better.to me.

Sturgeon is what it was
@sotaboy80404 жыл бұрын
@@OttDeFoeFishing that's what I thought at first with that huge pectoral fun but talked myself out of it; shallow river, middle of the summer, in Tennessee it couldn't be. Only time we get them up here that small of water is the spring or why we go ice fishing for them.

Was it a sturgeon?

Flathead catfish.

Looked like the sturgeon until I thought of the size and location of the river. Watched again and no doubt in my mind it's a musky. Then I saw the pectoral fin look like a shark... Sturgeon!

What was it?
@jeffmorris87684 жыл бұрын
Flathead
@sotaboy80404 жыл бұрын
Musky, quite common in Tennessee river so I'm guessing they've gone up the tributaries.

That pectoral fin made me reconsider... It was a sturgeon.

@@sotaboy8040 ott telling you it was a sturgeon made you reconsider
@sotaboy8040 Жыл бұрын
@@jprizzle2604 no my first comment somewhere else on the post was it was a surgeon then I talked myself into it being a musky as they are quite common in the Tennessee river and lake sturgeon go to deep water in the summer, or at least the do in the rivers up here. Only time we get them shallow is when the river is ice over.
