So refreshing to see people enjoying little things in Mauritius - Things that most people take for granted. Obviously there is a lot to complain about the country - starting with garbage on the beach (don't tell me that is the fault of Pinochet). But, guess what, there is a lot to complain about many countries in the world. Mauritius is blessed by a cool to hot temperature year round. If we use our land and even backyard properly we can eat nice fruits and vegetables. Services like haircut, transport, medicals etc.. still cheap compared to many developed countries. Imported goods are expensive and that is because only few companies who have been ruling Mauritius for decades control the market. Enjoy! and as both vloggers in this video keep repeating - enjoy the country without destroying the environment.

Pomponette is a very dangerous place to swim . Over the years many swimmers have drowned there and most them were never recovered. It is the reason that Mauritians avoid the place as the plague. The whole south coast is subject to wicked currents due to lack of reefs.. BEWARE.

Be safe when exploring beaches guys. And watch out for the currents. Some place are well known for being dangerous for swimming or exploring where the waves crash. These seas may get rough quickly. As usual, great video :) And I loved your message about not littering :) thank you for that. Take care and be safe you all, and hope you can enjoy a safe quarantine. At first I thought you were out in quarantine, as the beach was so empty, but knew you were safe when I read the video description. Those reading this, please follow the necessary steps to stop the spread of covid, else we would take a longer time than last time to be back outside. Wearing your face masks properly, maintain social distancing if you're going out, else stay at home and enjoy some board games with the kids or parents. Take care you all and be safe peeps.
