I’ve been stationed at Fort wainwright Alaska and Fort Carson Colorado and let me tell yall, there is a lot of stuff going on out in the wilderness that I’ve seen alone that would make your skin crawl! I’m so glad for this channel because I don’t feel crazy about what I’ve witnessed with my own eyes! I was threatened with a section 14 in the army if I talked about what happened to me in Alaska.

I was raised in Anchorage in the 70’s. I saw a 5 foot creature that might have been a small Sasquatch jumping at a rabbits hutch, we scared it away but it jumped through the bottom screen later that week. We lived behind the Fireweed theatre with Chester creek behind us, a great place for a little big foot.

You are very right, I am from Alaska (born and raised, but not native, I don’t think) and when in the woods there, if you feel like you are being watched you are, it’s very dangerous especially at night. You could be being watched by a squirrel or a grizzly bear! A bird or a moose! 🫎! If anyone ever visits Alaska and your not used to the climate and land, Better go hiking in the day, although it’s not much better it definitely helps to be able to see! Another thing is be loud when in the woods, bears and animals will most likely not come near if they know your there.

East of Kooskia, Idaho, my friend and I and 3 dogs hiked up a wash full of elk tracks. It was steep and mountainous, choked with ferns, Solomon’s seal, and brush, so the dry wash was the only trail up the mountain. The dogs were ahead of us when suddenly they came running at top speed back past us. Then the smell hit, the feces-rotting meat-vomit smell. We didn’t know what it was, but if a big Chesapeake, a wolf hybrid, and a typically fierce mongrel were that afraid of whatever it was, we were too, and ran after the dogs. We didn’t see or hear anything, but what a smell!

Even though it was an isolated location, none of them were armed. and the ground was vibrating for no reason. and those monstrous creatures couldn't catch up to them even though they were running at random in the woods. and the creature was standing next to the car but all three managed to get in. yeah I believe this.

While in the Coastguard i was working at the recruiting office in Spokane WA. I went into Idaho every weekend to hike different spots. I was the biggest skeptic until that point. I didn't believe in any Cryptids. That year hiking various places in ID, changed Mt mind forever. Near ID Falls I saw tracks that were definitely Bigfoot and I heard one clears as day. That didn't shake me up as much as what i saw in courdelane. Not sure of the city spelling there, but it was either a Skinwalker or Wendigo. I didn't stick around long enough to find out.

I’m an Idaho Native, my family owns a Cabin up in the mountains in Fairfield area. We decided to take one last family camping trip of the year in late October. We were camping along the Boise River. One morning, my niece and I decided to take a stroll along the river and she found a footprint. It was just one footprint. Not very big probably about 10 inches in length and not very wide either. But the depth was about an inch deep into the dirt . I wish I could share a picture with you all.

You gotta start somewhere when becoming an “experienced,” hiker though, right? I applaud the group’s willingness to explore somewhere new; they at least had enough sense to make it out alive, and they probably never went back to that trail and so they learned a few life saving lessons on their 2 mile walk. Also,I am glad they shared their story, so now we all know the forests of Idaho have some scary furry beasts to be on the lookout for. I personally think it is all the forests in North America.

Keep an open mind, but not open like a trash can. Think logically. Remember that stress, fear, excitement distorts what you see and can easily misidentity what you saw. Confirmation bias can distort what you saw and darkness plays with your vision. Darkness and fear will turn your mind into mush with fear and panic.

You'll be fine. I grew up in mid central idaho and frequently camped/backpacked, both alone and with groups. My father always told me I was safer miles away from civilization than surrounded by people in a city (provided you are smart and prepared). I've found this to be true. Living in SoCal as an adult, I've experienced shootings and tweakers that scared me more than anything I ever saw in the woods. To me, this story sounds like dumb unprepared city kids encountering a bear or sasquatch. They arrived right before sunset, no light source other than phones, in an area they were unfamiliar with, and no gun or even bear spray. Plus, they continued on despite the woods being silent/getting a "bad feeling," which is a huge no-no. The woods are only silent if a large predator is in the area. I would have turned back as soon as the woods went silent, but they definitely should have turned around after seeing the carcasses. Buy a headlamp and weapon, listen to your instincts, and avoid setting up camp after dark. Anywhere you can tow a camper will be frequented by other people, and you can make a very quick exit if needed. Pack well and have fun!!

Cabin Fever. I remember seeing those amazing Sasquatch face shots before, but never the story behind them, so thanks for that. Definitely one of the Bigfoot variations, since there a many types. Some hostile, others semi-friendly. It's good thing Scott wasn't staring down a Dogman, at least not one of the bad ones. As for the first story, I'm calling BS. These guys stumble into a Dogman's den, it comes out and didn't immediately kill every one of them for a snack later. Yeah right. Then they managed to outrun it to the mountain side? Not likely. Dogmen are swift runners and almost ninja-like in their movements. The only reason I can see that these boys were not immediately killed at the cabin or overtaken in their dash to get away was that the creature was toying with them. He would basically be pulled a Pepé Le Pew and slowly keeping his distance, but still staying close enough to see what the kids would do next. That Dogman could have ran them all down in a flash of a fur and blood if it so desired. So, I'm not so sure this story is accurate.

Cabin fever! good stuff, man! Although , for personal reasons, I tend to takt things my dad says with a grain of salt; he did recount a story of a time he was driving home from work. He used to be a foreman for Masse Mines in West Virginia, and he was in the Appalachian Mountains in the western panhandle. Driving on a back road he jokingly called a "Goat Path" (he earned the nickname Goatroper that day lol), he claims he was crossing a bridge over a creek that was about 5 to 6 feet under the bridge. As he slowed down to cross the bridge; and it's about 7 pm, so it's starting to get dark, he looks out of the driver side window and said he's looking a Bigfoot dead in the eyes. It's standing high enough that their faces were directly at the same level. He says it just looks at him as he drives on hoping that it doesn't feel an itch to hit the truck and possibly knock him off of this small bridge. The truck is about the size of a Dodge Dakota, and it was looking him square in the eye. That would easily place this creature standing between 8 and 9 feet tall.

It was the giant carnivorous electric boogaloo furry penguin-mole at it again. Not able to catch them in the small cabin space or catch up to them outside despite being very large

Cabin Fever ❤ my aunt and i got stalked by something during a hike back in 2016 in new england...never saw it just heard it. It even let out this roar/scream that ive never heard before or since when we were retreating. I dont like to think about what it was but i do wonder if it was a dogman if it wasnt something normal

Those pictures showed a wide, human-like nose. No way that's a bear. A yeti; very likely. This hairy dude looked curious, not hungry. COOL.

Yeah, lets go into an abandoned, closed building full of bones, gore and blood. What could possibly go wrong? Sometimes I root for the monster or entity in a story because the people are plain dumb and serve themselves on a platter. Cabin fever.
