My sons and I found an old WWII bunker while hiking to a viewpoint in Ecola State park, near Canon Beach, Oregon. Enjoy!

I have heard that this particular bunker was a part of a network of radar instillations along the west coast built to detect incoming Japanese aircraft, an invasion of the mainland being a concern during WW2 that thankfully never materialized.

😂 Nothing like hiking all the way up a mountain only to find out the batteries needed changed. Even a candle would have been better on that day.
