I have the identical VFR.. I have other more expensive and desirable bikes (way more) but I honestly love riding the vfr around tbh. It’s just fun to me after I did some customizing to it.. simple bike tons of fun so happy you rescued this one

I'm stunned at that find I'm a old bmxer but as I'm 42 years old I've upgraded to a Sunday 24" I reckon I would get about £1500+ after a little tlc and if I'm right i think 2k if it's a dyno slammer👊

Your area of NY still has good items! where I used to live in NY its been depleted all the old money is long gone. the watercolor is a Hudson river school common for that area the frames were worth some cash the art work about 100 bucks

Ik it’s not a bmx story ima tell but I’m gonna tell it so I was hanging out with my friend and went down his street but a blue mountain bike caught my eye so I stopped hoped of my bmx and went over it was a free mountain bike out for trash since they didn’t have space for it lol so I parked my bmx at my friends house and filled the tires on the mountain bike took it for a drive found it worked great and parked it at my house then went back for my bmx I still have that bike to this day
