Now that you have the trade rocket unlocked, you need to build it so you can get a couple of energy fuses, and the more advanced storage and drones. Not to mention the tree, larva, and eggs you can't craft. Also, you should build more tree spreaders and put them somewhere for your remaining tree seeds. No need to use fuses with them, but they will improve the appearance of the world, considerably, and give you a nice little boost for O2 and plant generation.

You don't need a ton of drones if you build efficiently. Put an auto-crafter in the center of a group of outdoor farms and put you bee hives within a 3 frame radius. Auto crafters will grab available resources within a 30m radius so you only need drones to move food to the storage locker. If you place target on the auto crafter it will show the working area.(Unless that changed for Humble, I have not started that yet) Put lake water extractors and algae generators within reach of an auto crafter and save more drones.

Great stuff! Glad you finally figured out the benefits of the rover. Base looking really good - but I’d put down a couple of extra farms of each seed cos there’s plenty space in that lake area. I think farms help with insects don’t they so you’ll be at beehive level 2 in no time.

Tips for people (since he doesn't filter comments he won't see it.) 1.) if your drones can't keep up then you make more the station can hold a stupid amount of them I once had 600 drones (I was trying to crash the game). 2.) automate drone production once you unlock circuit boards and have crafter supply and station demand this will automatically balance your drone needs even as you grow your production stations. 3.) Always use T2 storage once you buy it because when you fill up the main items your drones can fill up your less important things on the down time. (Doing step 2 will make sure your storage is full). 4.)(optional if your impatient) if you have lots of drones idling and unfilled storages make more machines to produce resources faster.

great tips. at the end of the main world, i had: - 150 drones, those were enough to do everything - 5 T3 extractors in every biome, to produce all the resources i would need. - bases all over the world producing different things. like a separate base producing everything biolab related. - a main base with a command room (the screens, a teleporter, storage with everything i need on expeditions and a nice sitting area) and behind that a couple 3x3 rooms with T2 storage's for everything in the game (and full). - and with the ability to buy those fuses i only needed 8 fusion generators and just added extra optimizers and extra fuses if i needed more power. same with Ti machines, just 8 and optimezers around them. - and of course having everything automated. only thing i had (left) to do was portal hopping and searching those wrecks. the drones are such a nice QoL addition to the game, saves you so much running around.

@Z1Gaming There is a Rod Mod that gives Rods for all the other resources, Plus some other really cool mods, I'm currently running this planet on a modded playthrough and loving it, Really sorry we didn't get the last episode, I so look forward to your Planet Crafter and Astroneer videos. Check out the pinned comment, Z1's wife MrsZ1 does the editing, and their kid seems to have bumped something that erased the last two or so minutes, and usually in editing software if you erase a portion of a clip it moves and merges the transition and shrinks the blank space, so that's why the video faded to the Patreon thanks screen and suddenly roll the outro and music. I'd say its just one of the tradeoffs of taking the time to set up editing automation, it saves loads of time, but sometimes you can make a small mistake that you don't notice until after the video is rendered and then uploaded. And as MrsZ1 is a stay-at-home mom, Twitch streamer and KZbinr, time is short and automation tends to be a real godsend for getting everything done with time to spare to relax and attend to other tasks.

It is a Bummer that we can't mine for Pulsar and other Quartz, maybe they need to come up with a Tier 4 Miner hahaha Yeah, I pick up my Rover when I do the Ship wrecks, you just have to make sure to grab it before closing the portal lol Learned the hard way that you lose the Vehicle.

If it makes you feel better, I never noticed the button on the rover before either. I mean... I SAW the bright glowing square, but thought it was just part of the design and not something I could interact with, lol. Then again, I enjoy zipping around the planet in my little RC Rover, the speed upgrades are very nice 😁🤣

There's an upgrade you can install for that. I didn't have to bring mine back to base it just supplied where ever it was.

@@flash1259 I knew it would do that if it could be set on supply, but there are some things that the drones wont pick up because you cannot set them to be supplied. So bringing the rover back would let you easily move those items yourself. Of course you could also just bring those items with you.

Steam reviews say this game is overwhelmingly positive with over 40 000 reviews and 95% positive reviews. Also looking at your previous comment from the previous video "Wow you are late on this game. Basically all the other channels have covered this game like months ago. But then again, you spend ¾ of your time playing that trash game Planet Crafter so I suppose GOOD games aren't exactly on your priority list." i would say you are just an unreasonable person considering that video came out 3 days after the games official launch on steam. You seem like someone that would really enjoy watching a Dragon Age Veilguard playthrough.
