My brother lived in Pakistan for 9 years. There have a pakistani restaurant in Nilai 3 serve an aunthentantic pakistani food and the kebab was so delicious. Even my brother's said that it was very closed to the taste when he was living there. But the restaurant you went in KL was also good. That my father's favorite pakistani restaurant. I used to work in that area for 2 years, that was more than 15 years ago, doubt that Ras Balouch was there at that time, or i didnt notice it. I still go back to that area to get punjabi/bangladeshi/pakistani foods. theres a punjabi shop near to that 1st sundry shop who directed you to Khan's, they have really good chapatis and associated condiments, eg, minced mutton keema, etc...

I have been to this area where all the pakistani restaurants are located. I ordered food and got ripped off. They don't mention the prices. So if you visit this area, make sure you check the prices and then order. Don't get carried away by their sweet talks. My opinion

I've had Pakistani foods a few times, they served Naan breads with that beef patty and certain kind of chickpeas curry, it is very tasty. I find Pakistani foods a little lighter in spice compared to Indian foods, even the Briyani. For Briyani I prefer Indian ones for Naan I prefer Pakistani version with that beef patty and the chickpeas curry they serve it with.

Surprised that you guys didn't order lassi. Actually my favorite Pakistani restaurant in KL is RSMY for their cheese naan and beef keema. If lassi and chai would be another restaurant on the outskirts of KL called Chapli kebab. However their keema is oily and not thick here. At RSMY their lassi is runny. I guess they originate from different regions in Pakistan hence the difference in style.

The most delicious Pakistani food I've ever taste was in Makkah Restaurant in Makkah and in Jeddah, the satisfaction and energy kicked is unmatched by any restaurants Ive visted in 4 different countries including western and in my own country Philippine, close 2nd is Turkey restaurant in Riyadh.
