I have missed you guys. I have been sick for a while. I last saw you just after Jay had the baby. I don't know how long that has been. Though I see she is as beautiful as ever. I tell you, getting cancer twice in your life is twice too often.

Cole maybe up the hook size a couple. I use circle hooks and had to do that with my cheese bait tubes. Made a difference. Don't hurt to try on those toothy things.

In Louisiana we call those choupique. Shoepick is how you say it. It’s a massive trash fish. We also call crappie soc a Lait or white perch.

I’m so confused . Our water temp is 56 ,I’m expecting the fish to be active. It’s been windy out of the SW . There’s no fish shallow ,not even blue gills . But 40 feet down it’s loaded . I can’t get them to bite . Maybe lake trout ? Skunked 3 straight days ….its weird .
@COLE_and_JAYАй бұрын
Might need to try to downsize your lures to get a bite or drop some live bait down!
@Robert-k3x2tАй бұрын
In sun on cold days, fish shallow will be warm . After dark when shallow cools fish deeper. Summertime early fish shallow as sun rises, fish deeper in heat of day is usually good to consider! Best to ya

what's the difference if u loose a few, u don't keep any.
@jamesgriffin7711Ай бұрын
You need to learn the difference between a 360 and a 180.
@COLE_and_JAYАй бұрын
???
@jamesgriffin7711Ай бұрын
@@COLE_and_JAYOK, at the six minute mark of the video you said "he just did a 360". What he actually did was a 180. Think of it this way. If you are driving in your car and make a u-turn you were heading in one direction and then proceeded in the opposite direction. That is a 180 degree turn. If you turn in a circle and continue off in your original direction that is a 360 degree turn. I don't know how else to explain it. That fish did a 180 when he turned and swam at you.

I thought you are not supposed to release bowfins back into to wild, because they are an invasive species ?
@COLE_and_JAYАй бұрын
Bowfin are native species. Snakeheads are invasive

@COLE_and_JAYАй бұрын
@primordialsimilarity6262 not sure! Maybe sometime this winter. That's when we normally make it down
@robclark1215Ай бұрын
Why don't you call the lake by name? Take advantage of the situation. Make some improvements on your frontage. Make it deeper, and put a floating dock on it. Build stucture. 🤔🤔😎😎
@COLE_and_JAYАй бұрын
I've got a lot of structure out but plan to add some. We can't build floating docks on it.
